My insulated boots for hunting and fishing
I normally ware 10 1/2 ordered 10ee front of boot fits fine the heal is very loose after installation of adhesive heal pads and ordering padded heal socks they seem OKAY however I haven’t warned them for an extended period the jury is still out for me I also replaced the laces they wouldn’t uncoil very stiff , so far not what I was expecting

Good Cold Weather Boots
I recently purchased and have used a pair of these 8" Gore-Tex boots. I have a somewhat narrow foot and for boots I usually purchase size 9N. It appears that LLB is discontinuing the sale of narrow sizes and will be limited to medium and wide boots. ( a comment not applicable to these boots, LLB has also discontinued size small tall Signature Chamois shirts, which I purchased regularly and will miss). I purchased these at a sale price in part because they will not be available much longer.
Aside from the narrow sizing comments I believe these are excellent boots for cold weather use. The Gore-Tex lining goes up to the top of the boot and these are warmer and more water resistant than the boots that have insulation only inside the rubber portion of the boot.
It also appears that these boots are being replaced by boots with boots that do not have PFAS/PFC.
I recommend these boots while they are still available , especially if you prefer narrow size boots.

Gore-Tex insulated bean boot
These boots did not feel comfortable for my husband. It's his feet, not LL. Bean though. He has tiny ankles and calves so they did not feel right. They're a great boot otherwise and he wished they would fit him. :(

I've had B width 8" goretex lined Bean boots for years and now they cannot be replaced!
LL Bean has changed so much over the years, its no wonder that I buy very little there.

Great boots. Sizing makes no sense.
They definitely run big. Forget everything you know about your shoe size that you normally wear and order smaller. As a motter of fact you will probably need to order about 4 pairs to actually find the best fit. That's what I did because their sizing makes no sense. Once you actually find your size they are great. Very high quality and comfortable. I believe they will last me a long long time. I have a pair of these made by a different company that rhymes with berry. There is no comparison. The beans and wayyyy better. Just buy them...I'm about to buy another pair just to have another color I like them so much.

Nice boots, just pretty stiff. The only negative is the insoles. They're very thin at the ball of your feet. I bought new insoles that are much thicker and threw the other ones away.

I owned a pair of insulated Bean boots which I’ve had for several years. I recently sent them in to be re-soled after I received my new pair of Gore Tex lined Bean boots. The order site suggested ordering my normal shoe size, which is 9.5EE. Since Bean boot sizing tends to run large, I ordered my new pair in the 9W size. The fit is perfect with a medium weight sock. I’m looking forward to many years of use with my new Bean boots and the receipt of my rejuvenated older pair of boots.

Great Boots
Replacing my existing pair that's many years old and has lost it's grip. Just like the last pair, order a size down. I wear 12 wide sneakers. These 11 wide boots fit perfect. Hope I get the wear and tear of these like I did the last pair. Not a cheap boot and not guaranteed for life anymore.

Incredible boots!
These are the first pair of L.L. Bean boots that I've ever had. The fit & finish of these boots is without question, remarkable, and I now understand why there is a cult following! Replacing the pair I bought 18 years ago - which are still fully functional but wanted to add some insulation. I had to step down 2 sizes to get a pair that fits btw, which took 3 tries, but they are worth the wait and I intend to have this pair for at least 18 years to come.
