Bag = Great but the smell = awful
I bought this bag for the 2nd time thinking I had messed up the first one. Turns out this isnt a me issue...it continues to have the mildew smell. I have hardly wet towels in it, Ive tried dawn, lysol, vinegar......leave out to dry in the sun. Nothing works. Any tips LL bean? I would like to exchange for something else thank you!

Love the Bag - Hate the Smell
I purchased this bag in the XL and L last year. The XL has been used more than the L, but they both have a musty/moldy/mildew smell. I have occasionally had damp towels, but then leave the bag empty to dry. It's a shame because I've tried using clorox wipes, leaving it inside out in the sun, and everything in between. It's a shame, because now I cannot use them to pack clothes in for risk of smell transferring. Any thoughts LL Bean?

I like it, but do have some reservations
We bought this after our old classic canvas tote got mildewy with wet towels (oops!). What drew me to this was the water proof lining- I don’t foresee having and moisture issues with this bag, and it’s huge! Plenty of room for beach towels and swimsuits for my family of four, plus some to spare! My only regret is that there are zero pockets whatsoever on this bag- I really wish there were a few to stash sunscreen, sunglasses and snacks. But overall we’re happy with our new beach bag!

Extra large hunter's tote
I wanted the "large" but it was out of stock so I got the XL. It's a little large for my purposes but a really good bag, doesn't show the dirt, very useful.

The best tote!

I wanted to like this bag
