Zazz your man with this jacket color!
I bought for my conservative husband. He really loves this jacket, especially the color. Much better color in real life. It’s nice to go somewhere without his sweat shirt jackets.

A classic for a reason
I put this jacket on in the store and decided that it wasn't coming off. I used to have one of these at my old job but it was embroidered with the logo so I didn't take it with me, but I missed it every year when it got cold. For me it was like getting an old friend back- great with the wind and light rain and the perfect jacket to throw on, to run out of the house for any reason in the colder months. Bonus points for classic "Dad style."

Nice but odd looking
This jacket is well made and seems to be of good quality, but the fleece on the inside of one collar is much longer than the other side and looks very odd and out of balance. The images on the site and catalog hide this - so you have to buy it to find out. I sent mine back for a refund.

I had a large version of this but lost weight and now at 5'10" and 170 lb a medium is perfect. I use the jacket for temperatures around 45 and below which covers much of Philadelphia's winters except for the occasional arctic outbreak.

The early winter go-to jacket
I had this jacket years ago and finally decided to get new one. The new one is just as good as the old one with better insulation. A perfect jacket for mid-Fall to early winter and gentle winter days, especially if you are spending the day outside. An excellent choice.

New favorite!
My husband had been looking for a jacket for a while and I said, "That sounds like the jacket I got from LLBean years ago." I poked around on the website, found it, ordered it, and he's a happy camper! It's his go-to jacket now. I only wish it still came in the women's style because I finally wore mine out after 30 years. Miss it dearly but it makes me happy to see him happy.

Warm-Up Jacket does exactly that!
The Warm-Up Jacket does keep you warm. The temp this morning was in the low 20’s. Wore a short sleeve shirt underneath the jacket this morning and was not cold at all. Quality is good. Definitely recommend getting one.

Nice Jacket - but Noisy
A cowboy rides into a town that is new to him, and he realizes that there are very few people around. He goes into the saloon and orders a whiskey. and asks the barkeep "Where is everybody?" Oh, there at the Lone Tree Gulch for the hanging. Hanging? Yeah, they final caught the Brown Paper Bag Kid. Well, what'd he get caught for? Rustling.
I like this jacket, especially the high collar. Only, with the nylon shell it is noisy -- I equate it to rustling Hope I don't get hanged.

Will Keep you Warm Against the Cold

Great jacket, perfect fit (large/long). Appears to be good quality. Good water resistance. Very prompt customer service for some questions I had, e.g.
Canadian customers, keep in mind the $99 price tag in some of these reviews and on the jacket itself is the USD price. I think the $159 CND price was totally reasonable for the value of the jacket.

Bad value
Over the last 20 years I’ve had 3 of the same color warmup jackets and they were perfect for my needs. The new one I just purchased , and returned, was a little different color, not suitable and not the same taupe color, the fabric is also different, it wrinkles really badly. Not even close to my jackets purchased in the past.

LLBean needs to bring back the women's version of this fleece-lined warm-up jacket. I have an old one in pink which is great. The shape of the shoulders and available colors for that one were better. I see in the reviews other women have also bought this for themselves but it is not as good.
