Great jacket, fit is slightly loose.
Needed to buy a warmer jacket for work to keep me slightly warmer. This jacket was perfect, depending on which product line I buy my size veries anywhere from medium to XL ( I stand 5 11, weight 185-190) big boned guy though, not slim. In any case I was contemplating between a large and an xl, decided to go with the large and boy I’m glad I did as even the large is loose (particularly in the chest and shoulder section, the jacket does taper down to the waist) I think a medium would have been better but possibly to snug as I do have to move around at work. I posted pics so hopefully this helps people with their sizing. I’m hoping this shrinks a little because it’s so loose that it defeats the purpose of keeping me warm.

Warm-up Jacket.
Does what it's supposed to do. It's one of the basic 3-season items I've had from LLB for over 20 yrs. The old one is more beaten up, so I needed a new one. Something I wouldn't have thought about, the zipper functions very smoothly, which doesn't always happen on Bean outerwear. I do wish you'd stuck with the red rather than orange.

Old warm up jacket vs new jacket
I like the new jacket but I liked my old lighter weight jacket better.

Great jacket for colder weather.
This is the 6th jacket that I have purchased from L.L. Bean. I love the fleece lining and the zipper pockets that help secure my personal items. It also keeps me dry during wet inclemant weather.
I also have the jacket in different colors which is nice to match different wardrobes.

Great jacket, I've warn it and owned it for years
Probably my most versatile and warm jacket I own (I'm shopping for another and it's hard to beat). It styles well with almost any shirt. When it starts freezing (14F min) I throw a hoodie under and I'm warm while I see others shiver.

Nice jacket
Nice jacket, but a little tight in the body and long in the sleeve. Also, with creaky old shoulders, fleece linings are harder to get on and off.

Recent purchase
Excellent lightweight warm jacket for mild climates or as an undergarment to other outerwear. This is my second such jacket. I wore the first one out.

Comfy and Excellent Quality
Comfortable, warmer than expected, and fits exactly as expected. It’s a great 3 season jacket in Vermont and I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it on milder winter day

A Great Jacket!
I great jacket. I wear this jacket all the time during the colder months. It is extremely comfortable and keeps you warm. Even your neck! Our youth sports organization issues these jackets to all of Board of Directors members. We have these jackets embroidered with our organization's name and personalized. You can't go wrong with owning this jacket. It's a winner.

Nice jacket, but I don't like the new color
This is the second warm-up jacket I've bought from L.L. Bean. My other one is navy. This time, I was looking for one in either tan or brown. As best I remember, there used to be a tan version, but that color has evidently been replaced by taupe, which isn't a color I much like. Otherwise, the jacket is warm, well-made, and thoroughly satisfactory.

Gortex Warm Up Jacket
Years ago I had the Gortex Warm Up Jacket paid like 99.00 for it, I wish you still carried them. The one draw back with these is that the Fabric at the end of the Sleeves and the bottom of the jacket really stretch out and get sloppy looking and lets a lot of air in. I wish they had adjustable Hem and Sleeves

My favorite jacket
I have worn the LL Bean Warm Up Jacket for over 25 years
(I am presently wearing my 3rd jacket). They are durable, warm, reasonably stylish and I love the 3 zip up pockets
(2 hand warmer and one interior pocket). It is warm enough for cold days in North Carolina and it is trim enough to fit under my gore tex rain jacket for wet days. It is warm, comfortable, light and easy to care for......machine washable etc etc.
I wear it with jeans or dress trousers and have often worn it under a camo hooded jacket for cold weather hunting.
It is very warm especially considering it's light weight.

Warmed Up
I love this jacket! The fleece lining keeps me toasty warm and the outer shell does a great job blocking the wind. The elastic cuffs and hem provide a snug and comfortable fit.

Zazz your man with this jacket color!
I bought for my conservative husband. He really loves this jacket, especially the color. Much better color in real life. It’s nice to go somewhere without his sweat shirt jackets.

Small people need good jackets also.
I ordered a size small, but it is a little too big. Unfortunately, there is not a smaller size. It is a nice, warm jacket.

Warm and comfortable
I really appreciate the warmth of this coat. Whether fall, winter, or spring, this a great coat to grab and go and never suffer from the cold. It is durable, just like its predecessor, the LL BEAN three-season jacket, which I had many years and still keep. I highly recommend it!

A classic for a reason
I put this jacket on in the store and decided that it wasn't coming off. I used to have one of these at my old job but it was embroidered with the logo so I didn't take it with me, but I missed it every year when it got cold. For me it was like getting an old friend back- great with the wind and light rain and the perfect jacket to throw on, to run out of the house for any reason in the colder months. Bonus points for classic "Dad style."

Nice but odd looking
This jacket is well made and seems to be of good quality, but the fleece on the inside of one collar is much longer than the other side and looks very odd and out of balance. The images on the site and catalog hide this - so you have to buy it to find out. I sent mine back for a refund.

jacket
I had a large version of this but lost weight and now at 5'10" and 170 lb a medium is perfect. I use the jacket for temperatures around 45 and below which covers much of Philadelphia's winters except for the occasional arctic outbreak.

The early winter go-to jacket
I had this jacket years ago and finally decided to get new one. The new one is just as good as the old one with better insulation. A perfect jacket for mid-Fall to early winter and gentle winter days, especially if you are spending the day outside. An excellent choice.

New favorite!
My husband had been looking for a jacket for a while and I said, "That sounds like the jacket I got from LLBean years ago." I poked around on the website, found it, ordered it, and he's a happy camper! It's his go-to jacket now. I only wish it still came in the women's style because I finally wore mine out after 30 years. Miss it dearly but it makes me happy to see him happy.

Warm-Up Jacket does exactly that!
The Warm-Up Jacket does keep you warm. The temp this morning was in the low 20’s. Wore a short sleeve shirt underneath the jacket this morning and was not cold at all. Quality is good. Definitely recommend getting one.

Thin and short
I’ve worn out two of these jackets in the past and loved them. Always wore a LT and they fit perfectly
this time the sleeves were a little too short and the jacket felt thinner and more vinylie
