Comfortable Fit “Antique White” Canvas Shorts
Bought 2 pair of the “Antique White” Women’s Sunwashed Canvas Shorts. I wouldn’t normally order a lighter color pair of shorts, but they were on sale so decided to try them.
The shorts had an attached tag that says “Wash Before Wearing. Please wash this garment separately in cold water before wearing.” Because of the rich dyes used to achieve this color, color transfer can occur.”
Both pair of shorts were washed separately BEFORE wearing & washed with other garments on future loads. Even when a few tomato seeds were accidentally dropped on a small part of the shorts, the shorts washed & dried beautifully.
The shorts are comfortable & have pockets (always prefer shorts & pants with pockets)! I have this style of shorts in the lighter and darker denims. The elasticized waist is comfortable.

Perfect sleep shorts.
I wanted cotton twill-like sleep shorts but mostly everything is knit or some non-breathable synthetic so when I found these I was thrilled. The canvas is sturdy but soft and they're so comfortable. I pair them with a Bean tank or tee and I'm set for the warmer weather.

I've worn these for years. they wear like iron, wash and dry perfectly. A loose comfortable These have an awesome fit that we can't seem to find anywhere else. My daughters have taken to "borrowing" these at every opportunity!! Never ever discontinue this style!! A few new colors next year would be great! The nantuckety red pairs disappeared from my drawers immediately!! please bring those back!!

Please do not discontinue these shorts
There were no new colors of these perfect shorts this year. I am worried LL Bean is going to discontinue them. I have a drawer full, most getting older and needing to replace a few colors. These are 100% cotton, they wash and dry great, are cool and comfortable, and last for years. They are the only shorts I'll wear all summer long. If any of the LL Bean buyers are reading the reviews, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE. And new colors would be great (black, gray, dark khaki, dark brown).

where did white go?
I love these shorts and have worn them for years. But!! ---- Ordered some new ones - and the antique white looks more like the tan than a white (and not at all like the white ones I have from years past). Why a tan, and a cream/ecru, but not white? Please bring back white - especially for summer.
