Excellent Boots

Not Comfortable
I ordered the wrong boots, I wanted the ones with the chamois-like lining. I don't know what they meant by thinsulate lining, but I didn't think there was any lining, just the leather. I found that these boots were very stiff and uncomfortable and the fit was uncomfortable. I sent them back to try the Tumbled-leather, chamois-lined boots. They were nicely made and nice looking boots!

Great boot for rain and snow!
The boots are great - high quality and fit great. I love the blue color. I was able to wear wool socks and still had plenty of room for my feet. Am really glad I finally got a pair of Bean Boots - warm, perfect for every day use! Would highly recommend!

Perfect boots for winter and the rain!
These Bean Boots are just fantastic. I love the blue color. Keep my feet warm and the fit is great. I was able to wear a thick pair of wool socks and still had plenty of room for my feet in the boot. The size is great (I wear a women's 11 and the 11 fit perfect). Great quality, well made. Would highly recommend. Am glad I finally got a pair of Bean Boots!

Better than expected!
I love these boots! They are perfect for everyday where during the winter. They are warm and incredibly comfortable. I normally wear a 8.5 in shoes but a 9 in winter boots. I ordered a 9 in these boots and they are slightly big but the perfect amount of room for thick winter socks.

Comfort and warmth.
These are best winter boots I have ever purchased. They have kept my feet warm and dry with just one pair of moderately warm socks. They are comfortable enough to wear shopping and then out into the cold to shovel snow.

Women 8" Thinsulate Bean boot
I bought these for a trip to Seattle and they were fantastic. They fit perfectly, kept my feet warm and dry. The only reason I didn't rate them a 5 is because they did weigh a little more than I expected but other than that these were great!!!

Don't waste your money
I'm not going to lie, the presentation when they arrived was kind of surprising. The shoes were just sort of thrown in a box, no stuffing on in the inside or any type of normal shoe packaging. But okay whatever it was the holidays and I was able to look past that. But then after one use, where the tongue is, there is discoloration where the shoelaces have rubbed. I'm sure its just the material that the boot is but it's pretty disappointing considering how much they were. They are however warm and kept my feet dry in the two rainy days I've worn them. In the future I would probably get the ones that are the softer leather so there is no rubbing from the shoelaces.

Great Product!
The quality is excellent, and they arrived in a timely fashion. The boots are very comfortable and insulated well so they're great for working and walking in the snow and ice. I appreciate how well the soles grip. Super glad I got them before the first snow!

I love my boots!
I love these boots so much. They actually do keep my feet warm, way better than my sheepskin boots, and they look cute doing it. It hasn't plummeted to negative digits yet, but they have definitely kept my feet warm in windy, 20 degree Iowa temperatures.
Also, if you can try these on before purchasing I highly recommend it. I am always a size 6, but with these I purchased a size 5. Since my feet are small I even tried on the children's size equivalent to help me decide. I'm happy with what I chose but it means my feet feel a little bit tighter in these boots with thicker socks. So trying them on first will definitely help determine what works for you.

Love everything about these! Comfortable, pretty good arch support, my feet stay warm and dry. Wore them camping a couple of times when the lows were in the 20s. Feet stayed warm!

Quality made boot
I am a mail carrier and some days walk well over ten miles in these boots. I wanted something light weight but waterproof. I’m not sure how warm they will be when it is colder but so far this fall my feet are very comfortable and warm. They definitely needed a bit of breaking in but I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I also think it is great to wear boots made in Maine.

Was good for 15 wears
Never wore in snow, never even wore in rain. Wore them 15 times in dry cool fall weather. Rubber on top of foot is cracking vertically (so we also can’t blame over bending the boot when walking). Waste of money. I’m so disappointed.

Thinsulate Bean Boots
These boots are GREAT year round boots to work in the yard and/or wash the car. They are not heavily insulated so your feet are not too warm, but they are dry and comfortable. Great product!!!

A few weeks ago, after reading so many negative reviews about the sizing of these boots I decided not to buy them. But after doing some research, and getting some good tips I changed my mind. I’m so glad I did. I ordered my regular shoe size along with LL Bean’s cotton rag socks, and the adult bean socks….and jackpot they’re perfect! I couldn’t ask for a better fit. On the plus side I can wear them with both style socks. I’m so glad I changed my mind because I plan on living in my Bean Boots this winter!

Painful
These are cute (I got blue), but they cut painfully into the ankle. I've worn them a few times hoping they'll stretch/break in but so far they haven't. I'm wearing athletic gym socks with these, so they're on the thick side. Fits true to size. I really hope they break in because they seem like good quality shoes otherwise.
