Great!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago with temperature fluctuating everyday to keep warm, I'm always cold. Jacket is lightweight and comfortable. I leave for work at 3am and it is cold and when it warms up in the afternoon jacket is still comfortable to wear. Love it.

Disappointed with sizing.
I purchased this jacket online. The description sounded exactly like what I wanted. When I opened the package, the quality was perfect, until I tried it on. I ordered a XXXL because I wanted to be able to layer underneath it. No way was this what I would consider a XXXL.I tried it on only wearing a T-shirt but there was no way I was going to be able to zip the jacket. there was about a four-inch gap, I don't think the sizing was even close to accurate. I don't normally write reviews, but I don't want others to be disappointed. I have purchased other LL Bean items, and the sizing seems to be just about right. This looked like a wonderful jacket, I'm disappointed it was so undersized.

this looks like a rugged ridge parka under a different name. None the less. I bought the RR parka for my husband sever years ago and he cant wait for cold weather. Jacket is that good.

Very pleased
I’m totally taken with this coat, because of its incredible lightness and warmth. I’ve used down sleeping bags forever, but somehow resisted getting a down coat. I’m 5’ 8” and 172 lbs, and a large is plenty roomy enough for layering if needed. I got a regular length and that was just right. I wear this coat all the time.

All L.L. Bean products
I’m in purchasing from L.L. Bean for some years now before there was ever a store open the Charles Ville. Now that the store is here I can go in and look at all their new spring summer and fall wear. You can rest assure that their products are all warranted and they last forever. I have a pair of L.L. Bean boots that I bought 15 years ago and they still have a lot of years left in them.
