A great jacket
I live in northern Minnesota, it can be challenging to buy jackets online because requirements for a Minnesota winter jacket are different then say, a Nebraska winter jacket. This jacket has served me well so far, I’ve remained comfortable at around 0. The down regulates my body temp well when inside and outside, so I haven’t gotten sweaty. The hood is nice and I like that it’s removable. The jacket is puffy but not too bulky. The pockets are great, I love the zipper pocket within the snap pocket design! I haven’t washed it yet, so no insight there. Finally, this cost is a great value for the price. Would buy again.

Not there yet
I received my jacket yesterday and I am quite disappointed. While it says petite, which is what I ordered, the sleeves come down to my fist knuckle. The cuff elastic that could control that is so lax I can spread my fingers in the opening, essentially being useless. I bought a large because I want room for layering, and that part of the fit is fine.

Great mid-warmth coat
I was hoping to get a coat that was somewhere in between my true down coat, which is very warm, and my thinner fall jacket. This coat delivers on the warmth front though may not be suitable (which is fine for me) for frigid temperatures. I like the removable hood option and double button/zipper pockets. The inside pocket for the phone is a great detail! The coat is roomy and will be good for layering underneath. It may run a little big, but I always size up for winter coats anyways.

Great, but not worth the price
I got this in green, I love the color, I like the inside zip pocket, but I wish there was at least one more pocket on the inside. I really dislike the length on this coat it seems to fit boxy and short. I’m 5’6” 132 pds and I purchased a small, maybe a medium would’ve fit better, but they didn’t have a medium left in green. The length almost feels kinda croppped just wish it was longer. When you raise your arms the jacket lifts up and almost goes above your belly button. I like the hood it does seem like a very warm coat it’s just not worth the price even on sale . I haven’t washed it yet and I’m I’m kinda nervous to do that especially when the care tag says to use tennis balls in the dryer to keep it fluffed you don’t have to, but it seems to be recommended. Overall it’s nice coat, but I don’t think I’d be this again next season

A very comfortable, warm jacket
I have a mountain classic parka, and love it ( it’s my dress coat in the winter when it needs to be) so I thought I’d treat myself to the jacket version, as I don’t like sitting on my coat in the car, and sometimes I just need warmth, but less…
It’s very light and soft, easy wearing and comfortable. If you are a fan of skin tight form fitting, which you freeze in, this is not for you. But if you are confident and want to most of all be warm and comfortable, this is for you. I live on an island off the coast of Massachusetts, so we have very cold, damp, very raw winters. This jacket fits the bill for a go to, not as long as a coat jacket. I think you will be pleased…

Great coat
Love the color. Not sure yet if this will be as warm as a regular down coat. Pockets could be deeper and maybe an inside pocket for phone. Fit is perfect. All in all, a good buy.

Great Jacket
Jacket fits well and feels warm (although it hasn’t been very cold yet). I like the removable hood. One complaint is that I don’t like logos on my clothes so I carefully removed to LL Bean logo.

Warm in Pennsylvania
I wanted a puffer jacket for my morning walks here in Pennsylvania. It had to keep me warm when the temperature drops down into the 40s. This jacket passed the test. It’s comfortable without being bulky. So it’s a winner in my book. I’m 5’4”, 120lbs and I bought a medium so I could add layers when needed.

Love it!
I'm 5'4, 115llbs, size XS. The coat fits great, water resistant, & it has a cinch at the bottom that keeps in warmth and makes it more fitted. The color is beautiful (green). Warm with a t-shirt, hot with a sweater, but it has not hit below 40's yet so I can't say about freezing weather.

Nice coat as long as you never wash it
Purchased coat a few weeks ago and wore it once. The coat is beautiful and seemed to be well made and very warm and cozy. Washed the coat today perfectly followed the directions provided and now is unwearable. The fill is bunched everywhere even though I tried it on low with tennis balls as instructed to redistribute the fill. It did not work. There is also a very unpleasant musty or stale smell coming from the coat. I will be returning this tomorrow for a full refund and will not be replacing with the same jacket.

Love it!
Just picked this up at my local LL Bean store. I couldn't be happier. I'm 5"3" and 115 lbs and went with XS regular. The fit is perfect. I can feel that it's warm but not cumbersome. I love the green color. Can't wait to wear it!

Perfect cold weather jacket
Just what I wanted with warmest rating and a hood. This replaces a Bean jacket that I loved and had for years. It is light weight and warm. The hood detaches which is nice and it also is made so that it is not cumbersome around the neck area. There are no flaps sticking up in front of your face when the hood is down. I like the navy color. I sometimes wear petite but in this item I went with regular because it is cut somewhat short.
