Our signature boots are still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair they make. As rugged and hardworking as they were over 100 years ago, chances are you'll only ever need one pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really cute to way too big These shoes were so awesome. But way too big. I love the look and the color but literally a full size and half too large. I sent back and didn’t reorder. The first thing I’ve every gotten from Bean too large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bean Boots! Love these bean boots. Keep my feet warm and dry. Good for when it’s not too cold but when you still need boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mocs! These are my “go to” shoes. I wear them without socks in the summertime and with socks all other times. Comfy and they wear so well! Order your size as recommended and you can’t go wrong

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purple rubber ducky shoes I had a pair of these years ago and they were super. These are just as good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love to have a new bright pair I gave these as a gift to my mom. See had the traditional blue/gum pair from the time I was young. So they were close to 50 years old. She was thrilled with the new colorful ones and hopes they will last her till the end of time.😊

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My old favorites My third pair of these shoes over the years. I love them for wet weather or going to the grocery store! So comfortable!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rainy day shoes Heavy shoes, but look to be functional for walking anywhere in a heavy rain. Run big. I took a whole size smaller and they fit. There are some rough threads inside so I will wear socks with mine to prevent blisters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Years ago i bought rubber shoes from LL Bean. They were made in Vietnam. I loved them. They were comfortable and dry. I had them resoled ann wore them until they just wore out. So i ordered another pair from Bean bou made in Maine this time. The right shoe is larger than the left. I have to constantly pull the leather strings tighter to keep them on. It pains me to say this but the Vietnamese were so much better than the Maine made shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great!! Love these!! Perfect for slushy days in fall & winter and rainy days in spring and summer. Very fun colors. Follow recommendations and get smaller than you generally wear. I wear a 9.5 and get an 8 in these and they are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic shoes! These shoes have been great! Just wore them while cleaning all of the debris out of my waterlogged yard after a hurricane and my feet stayed perfectly dry. Definitely go down a half size. Other reviews suggested this and I’m glad I followed the suggestion. A half size down fit perfectly. I’m so pleased with this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing way off I ordered a size down, as recommended, but they were too large

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rose colored bean shoe Unfortunately the bottom of the shoe inside under the shoe has started to separate, an extra insole fixes the problem. The outside is fine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love them I’m not sure on some of the iffy reviews but I love them they fit exactly like my others and I always sz down. May feel a little looser because they are slip on’s but I love them. I feel comfy and stylish and they will work with thicker socks. Well worth the original price but I got them on sale which is a plus. LL Bean is my go to and these did not disappoint.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 11 N was more like a 12 M I really need a rubber moc like this, but unfortunately the sizing was off. I ordered 11 Narrow and the fit was more like a 12 Medium. Too big all the way around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Comfy Super comfy shoes. They run a little big and wide. I got a narrow in my regular size and it is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Huge This fits like a 8.5 rather than 7. My daughter wears 8.5 and her heal slipped in the back like mine. The red is very pretty but the pink suede tongue where it ties sticks up weirdly and no way to tighten them. Returning. I have 4 pairs of bean boots and they are all 7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are so cute! Bought these on sale and I really like them! Great for slipping on to go about chores in the wamer months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arch was an issue. The shoes are really cute and well made but the arch support hits my foot wrong making them intolerable. I have a very high arch and these don't work for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Share the pink? I bought these to keep my feet dry in damp garden conditions, not going into water.. These are the rose pink/med blue that were on sale. For the sale price they are OK. But once the pink leather gets even damp it comes off on my socks. Also for a medium they a are really wide, even for thick socks. On the plus side, the last pair I owned lasted for decades and although my socks have traces of pink, my feet are dry. Mission accomplished.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blue-footed Boobie Rubber Boot Reminded me of the Blue-footed Boobie Bird. Not the same low boot I used to wear from LL Bean. Hoping with a pair of heavy Sox they will work in the winter but not for the damp autumn mornings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Mocs! I love these for our muddy, wintry days running out mornings with the dog and around home doing outside chores. They are waterproof and easy to slip on and off. I’ve had an older pair for many years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing is a challenge I wear a 10 wide in most shoes. I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot and Morton’s neuroma in one foot. Shoes that aren’t wide enough are bad for me. I ordered a 9 wide. And it was swimming on me. Heel popping out. I decided not to exchange I didn’t really like the lacing and tongue. I imagine a 9 regular would have fit me better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great slip ons I live on a farm and needed some slip in shoes like these. I sized down to an 8 and they fit perfectly with just a pair of ankle socks. I re-tied the strings for easier slip in and I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mocs These Mocs are a replacement for a 20 year old pair that were still wearable, but looking well worn. I wear them every morning for dog walks, year round, and my feet are always dry. The fit is the same, I am a 7.5M and ordered a 6M. A light athletic sock is all I wear, so the close fit works for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Laces break easily This is my third pair of L.L. Bean rubber mocs . The laces on the previous two pair have broken after a few months of use. From then on I improvise with twine. Llbean will relace them, but the user has to pay for shipping cost both ways. I continue to buy these because they are ideal for work in the barn and garden. L.L. Bean, if you are listening, come up with better laces or an easier way to relace them at home.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I don't love them, but I don't hate them I have a narrow foot so I tried both the narrow and regular widths. I went with the regular. After a few weeks - they are just OK, not fabulous like I'm led to believe by ratings. They don't really tighten with the lace - is it just there for show? When I do try to tighten it a bit, the flap just contorts into odd positions and it's uncomfortable. Yes, they are waterproof, so that's good. If they are loose enough to slip into, they tend to come off my foot. So not the fabulous shoe I was looking for, and I'm glad I got them on sale. Oh, and the laces always come loose, even double knotted.
