An L.L.Bean exclusive, our plush flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Comfortable good length and full cut
It is a good weight not super bulky. The length is comfortable as my hubby is not super tall it comes about mid calf. It is full enough to wrap around and full across the shoulders. For the price I was a bit disappointed with the quality that the flannel was not heavier.

Here in west texas,winter mornings are generally not too bad but iffy..This robe fits the bill.Im a small guy and the medium is the perfect size and weight.It appears to be very well made with quaiity flannel..Very happy with purhase !!

Medium Warmth Robe But Very Comfortable
Writing this for my spouse: Cozy and warm, thin material which isn’t so bulky or hot. Could be a little longer but still ok enough. The flannel is a really soft material which makes it more comfortable.

The material is nice but it was too short for my 6’1” husband. I ordered tall/L. Wish LL Bean would sell ankle length as that would be better for warmth and comfort.

This was the perfect size that I've been looking for. The fabric is good quality. Not as thin as other cheaper brands. Although it wasn't advertised at the time, it does have a 3rd pocket on the chest. That's also something I've been looking for.

Shocked at how thin this was.

Great robe until it shrunk
I brought this for a Christmas present and it was as described—Super soft and perfect fit. Unfortunately, after washing according to the directions in cold water and drying on low heat, it shrunk a whole size. The sleeves and hem were 2+ inches shorter and it was much tighter. So disappointing. The flannel shirt and cotton polos I also ordered washed beautifully. LLBean seldom disappoints but this robe is a miss. Recommend ordering up a full size.

The colors of this robe are just wonderful, beyond and perfect to what I saw on your website. My son loves it! It is cozy and way lighter than his two-ton terrycloth robe, which was nice, but not at all packable for travel.

Very thin flannel
I bought this robe for my husband for Christmas as it was on his wish list. We’ve been lllbean customers for twenty years and have always loved the quality of the products. We’ve noticed over the last few years that the thickness of the flannel has decreased. I was hopeful that given the price and popularity of this robe, it would meet our expectations like llbean has in the past. Unfortunately the flannel while soft is very thin and lacks warmth.

Extremely Thin, Cheap Fabric
The fabric of this robe is extremely thin and will do next to nothing to keep me warm. It is about the thickness of winter sheets. L.L. Bean has had the reputation of providing high quality products that justify the price, but this robe is ridiculously overpriced and is cheaply made. I am very disappointed as I was hoping to buy a warm, high-quality robe that would last me years to come.

Scratchy Tag
The only reason for the 4 Star is because there is a scratchy tag sewn into the seam. I can't cut it completely out of the seam and it scratches my skin. now send me some cheese for my whine.

Not as warm as we had hoped
Not as warm as expected. Fabric is a lightweight flannel. Not heavy enough for my husband. This is to replace one he bought in the past which was much more substantial. Also, there should be a solid color fabric available.
