Too-short sleeves, odd collar

Really comfortable sweater
I have all the colors in the older Women's Double L® Cable Zip Sweater which I loved. I’ve never been a fan of the half zip sweaters or jackets due to the difficulty in taking them off without losing your shirt. First, I think the weave should have been tighter. My finger went through the cable in the sweater putting it on the first time. I also found the zipper a bit difficult to lower once you got past the shawl collar. That getting better the more times I wear the sweater. I always layer with an LLBEAN turtleneck. The weight is good and not bulky. After wearing the first during the month, I purchased a 2nd color. I have been an LLBean shopper more than 15 years

Love the color generous yet true sizing.
Not quite up to previous quality. Sweater fits well and is comfortable just does not hold shape and yarn seems thinner. Requires extra layer and even damp-dry requires hands-on play to reshape/size

Very warm and heavy
This is a quality sweater. Received as a gift. It is heavy and warm. Have a regular large and was thinking that I needed an XL, but then I think it would be too big. Seams are perfect in the shoulder area- I can wear with a short sleeve shirt underneath. I did notice that it felt heavy wearing - but not unbearable- Haven't had a cotton sweater in a while. When ordering, I would get two different sizes to compare what type a fit you want. Definitely worth the money.

Thick comfortable sweater
This is a thick warm cotton sweater. I purchased it in a medium petite in the green color.. It is not sheer or see through. It runs true to size. I am 5 ft 2 with short arms so the arms were a tad too long for me. The zipper was smooth and easy to use. I do wish the collar was not so wide. I have narrow shoulders and the collar came all the way to the end of my shoulder. I reccomend this sweater. I am considering purchasing another one in a different color.

Gorgeous old school Quality Cotton!!
I almost didn’t buy this, but am SO glad I took a chance!! Ladies, I never leave reviews but felt I had to do so, because this sweater in the bone color is perfection! I can’t usually wear cables because they make my arms & shoulders look broad. Because of the zip collar it looks good. I’m 5’7, athletic, age 49, broad shoulders, weight 142lbs, wear size 6. The small measures 36 inches total in the chest and fits my 34A well. The bone is off white and perfect for soft summer color palettes. I thought maybe it was a little heavy but it’s not when I wear it. It’s such thick quality cotton and sewn well, with a sturdy zipper. I have $250 sweaters from White & Warren that aren’t this nice. I highly recommend it!! I’m normally an XS in bean but the small in this was necessary. See pic

Nice sweater /different fit for me
This is a really nice sweater but the fit was off for me. I ordered a medium and the sleeves barely made it to my wrist and the sweater was fitted, not in any way loose. It hit at my waist. If it shrunk after washing, there’s no way I could wear it. I returned the sweater. If I considered purchasing it again, I would size up to large-extra large to get a looser, more casual look. My typical size is small -medium. 5’6”; 135 lbs, 34D. Long waisted/shorter legs.

Perfect sweater in every way.
Why did I listen at first to the bad reviews? This sweater is absolutely perfect. Perfect fit, weight, size and length and the collar with zipper is absolutely stunning. I ordered a size small (I am 130 lbs 5'3) and it fits big enough to wear a sweater underneath). The detail is spectacular and it's just so flattering. My only wish is that I didn't listen to the bad reviews when this sweater first came out, because I would have been wearing this gorgeous piece a lot sooner. One of my favorite all time sweaters that screams elegance and class. I ordering other colors too!

Nice and thick!
I almost passed on this since the previous reviews weren’t all that favorable. I did take their advice and ordered up. I’m not sure it was all that necessary for me, but I love a slightly oversized sweater. It’s not obviously big which is why I’m not exchanging. I am short waisted and the sleeves hit exactly where I want them to. I do feel my arms are long so that’s a biggie.
