Beautiful Sweatshirt Cardigan
I purchased the sweatshirt cardigan in the tan color. Love the color; very pretty! I absolutely love this cardigan. It’s so soft and the V shaped wide collar neck with the buttons adds a dressy look to the cardigan, yet it’s a sweatshirt. I love the pockets, too. I wore a long sleeve white tshirt underneath and I love the look. Can wear with jeans or leggings. I am a 71 year old, 125 lbs, 5 ft, and bought a Medium petite. Fits perfect. The sleeves were a tiny bit long but after washing it, it fits perfect now. I would definitely recommend.

Not for me
I really liked the concept of a sweater/sweatshirt but the shawl collar was too big for me and went almost all the way to my shoulders. I am narrow in the shoulders so it was not a good look. If you are a little broader I'm sure it would be great.

Perfect for Me
This item is a thick sweatshirt in a cardigan style. it was so convenient to get on and off. Due to problems with my shoulder, a pullover sweatshirt is a challenge. This one is a joy to wear. I got an extra large petite for the comfort of a cozy style to wear very casually and at home. For that it works perfectly. But if I wanted to be more stylish, I think I would size it down a bit. I I really like the short length. I.love this unique, cozy Cardigan sweatshirt. I’d like to see more products offered in a style like this.

Came here to buy, but dropped shoulders - no
I had 3 sweatshirts in this style when they came around 10-12 years ago, and loved them; buttons and collar made them just enough nicer than a zipped hoodie. But when I looked closely, I saw they had dropped shoulders, which never look right on me. Have suggested next edition with raglan sleeves, much easier to put together and fit, and am hoping it will happen!

Excellent cardigan
This was soft, not boxy and really warm and cozy and soft. It's a shorter length , but perfect for me. For reference, 5'2, 145lbs and a Reg Medium was perfect with room to breath and layer, sleeves were perfect length. Well made and very comfortable, a large would have been too big. The Donegal pattern is lovely and elevates from too casual to work ready - while being as sot as a sweatshirt!

Not what I hoped for...
The fit is great. The texture is odd. I think it's meant to look like flecks of color but it makes it look like pilling, so it looks worn. I didn't like it and promptly returned it. I do love the concept, color and structure of it though.

The casual blazer’s laidback cousin is in town!
This is a unique offering from LLBean! It is very soft and cozy; as comfy as a sweatshirt, and snuggly warm. The shawl style collar dresses it up in the way a casual blazer would, but much more comfortable. This is the casual blazer’s laid back cousin visiting from out of town, turning heads and proving that a dressier style can comfy and cozy. I took off 1 star because the style is boxy and I think it would have been more flattering in a slightly shaped style. To account for this, I ordered a size XS, which is a size down from my usual at LLBean. That helped the fit, but it’s still boxy. Because of this, it looks better on me worn unbuttoned. I am 5’3” and 109lbs. I bought two…the grey and the brown. Though I’d prefer it slightly shaped, I love the more polished vibe this gives along with the absolute soft, cozy laidback feel of wearing this.

Would look great on a Yeti?
So disappointing...I wear a lot of boxy clothes because I'm short waisted, but Short and boxy is my style, but this jacket is far more than boxy. It was made for a monster torso. It's HUGE! I'm a bit small through the shoulders, and this hung on me as though it was made for a very large man. It's great fabric, and had the potential to be a cute wear-everywhere piece...but it failed miserably. Darn it.

My favorite sweatshirt cardigan
I love this top - a perfect sweatshirt/jacket for cool evenings, a comfortable warm substitute for a blazer or coat. Great for too-cold air conditioning. It can be dressed up or goes great with jeans and leggings-very versatile. I am 5’1” tall and weigh 95#, the Xsmall fits perfectly. I wish it was available in more colors, I would buy more!
