Warm sweater
I bought both the safe green and cream size L. I am 5’1and 140 lbs. The sweater is extremely warm and stylish with the side zippers. It is flattering and should wear well without pilling. The only drawback is the neck is a little high but I decided to keep the item because it is not flimsy, stylish and Very warm.

Cozy, great fit!
I own 3 of these sweaters. I wear LLBean small regular and this sweater fits great, it is NOT snug around the mid section. I’m not a fan of muted colors and earth tones, and I would like to see it offered in brighter spring colors such as; bright pink, turquoise and yellow. I live in New England and our winters are cold with bright sunshine.

Cozy!
Love the waffle sweater, arm length great for someone who is petite. Super soft and cozy- perfect for cold New England weather. The fit by the end of the day was a little boxy for my liking but not too bad.

Very soft & cozy, It shrinks!
Very soft and seems like it will hold up well over time. However, it shrank a lot during the first wash. I was really glad I bought a size bigger than I usually wear.

Disappointing
I really liked the fabric, style, and fit, but the zippers just seem "gimmicky." They are heavy for the fabric and didn't make a smooth line when the garment was on. I guess designers have to come up with something different so sweaters don't all look alike, but I think of L. L. Bean products as classic rather than "gimmicky."
I returned the sweater.

Cozy Perfect Sweater

Soft, well made, does not breath.
I bought 3 of these and very happy with quality, style, colors. My issue with this sweater is that it does not breath well. I get very hot very fast unless I am in a very gold climate

Comfortable winter sweater
This is a soft sweater with a nice thickness. It’s become a wardrobe staple for me already this season. The color was slightly off from online and it did shrink just a tiny bit after the first wash. I laid flat to dry. I haven’t had an issue with the fit but if I were “between sizes” I would size up. If there was an option I would give 4.5 stars.

Soft and warm
I got this for my birthday in October but didn’t need to wear it until December, and now that it’s January I’m so happy to have it, we’ve had some frigid days lately, and this is so cozy. The cuffs are long enough to leave down when I’m relaxing and turn back when I’m out for lunch, As a senior citizen who doesn’t like to look old and frumpy, it’s boxy enough to look good with leggings or slim jeans. It’s a nice change from a sweatshirt.

Very soft indeed!
The calling card for this sweater is soft - and it definitely is that! It was comfortable and warm on a cold day after snow. The zippers on each side add to the sweater’s style. I ordered a small. I could probably have gotten away with an extra small. The sweater is very stretchy which means it loses a little shape over a day’s wear. I love the unusual color; kind of like pale honey.
