Truly essential to own this crossbody bag!
Purchased this bag for a future plane trip as it is roomy enough for my real regular wallet, my cell phone, car keys and a few other items. Love the pocket and the side zip. The strap is adjustable so you can make it a crossover on your side or wear it close to your chest. Well made and it’s a durable fabric. So pleased with this purchase I am already using it for day trips!

Amazing bag —well-designed and we’ll-made
I am really impressed with this bag. It arrived this afternoon, and I have already transferred my items from another, larger bag to this one. I cannot keep track of everything if I have to stuff it in my pockets, so this gives me a si gel place to keep my wallet, cellphone, notebook, small umbrella, and hand sanitizer. Sturdy canvas strap, too. LL Bean really thought this one out well.

Perfect small purse!
This small bag fits my needs perfectly! The open pocket on the outside is great for my phone plus any shopping lists I need to access. The zipper pocket on the opposite side provides easy access to my wallet, keys, etc. The larger middle section provides plenty of room for additional items. The small leather handle is useful for quickly picking up the purse. The shoulder strap is easily adjusted and comfortable. My only suggestion might be to add a small Velcro closure to the open pocket to prevent a phone or other small items from falling out accidentally.

Medium sized which is excellent for day to day use. Zippered exterior compartment securely holds items safely and keeps them handy. Strap allows easy over shoulder hands free use. Purse itself also zips for securing things inside and keeping pesky hands off! You might want something bigger for a trip to stuff things but for day to day use perfect.

Sorry, this bag was a disappointment. The one I received was (and is) wrinkled, like the fabric is not assembled correctly. The top zipper is small and I find it hard to get my wallet, etc. in and out. I usually love LL Bean products. Not this one.

Nice simple bag, but - leather carry handle looks like scape piece with frayed edges. Returned the olive as the handle was so frayed, it was unsightly. Reordered in navy, and handle had less fray all around, but frayed nonetheless taking away from $49 appearance.
Online picture gives a more finished looked to the handle. An inside hook to hang keys would go well.

This is a really "roomy" bag! I can put my sunglasses case in the outside pocket and my wallet in the zipper compartment. It is built very well, the only thing I don't care for is the small handle on top that has frayed suede pieces that come off on your outfit at times. It's minor, though.

Perfect size, not sure about quality
Perfect sized bag. It fits everything I need, love the fabric and strap. I do wish there was an interior zip pocket, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm returning because I've had it a week, worn it out twice, and the canvas is already pulling away from the zipper leaving a hole in the seam along the front zipper pocket. It's not an overly pricey bag, but I did obviously expect it to last longer than a week.

This little crossbody packs plenty! First of all, it’s a washable canvas with a comfortable sturdy adjustable strap, in a color that doesn’t show dirt! Thank you! Used this little gem today for a day trip. Wallet, glasses, phone, small cosmetic items, keys, tissues, small hair brush all fit nicely with room for just a small water bottle. Hardware is sturdy and looks classy. The small loop at the top is a nice feature, as I grabbed it quick from the bleachers. I chose the classic navy color and it blends with so much already for fall. The stone color is on my wish list! Great every day shoulder crossbody.

Perfect Size, Beautiful Antique Olive Color
This little bag was everything I was hoping for. It's strong yet does not feel stiff. It has lots of room with two large heavy-duty zippered compartments and a big pocket in the back. It has a strong adjustable cotton webbed strap, which needed no adjustment. It is very nicely styled with heavy-duty bronze-colored hardware and some leather details. I love the L.L. Bean tag. It would be great for any activity or just casual everyday use. Highly recommended!
