Cute Dress
This dress looks cute on. It will be a great dress for southeast Texas winters such as they are. I plan to wear it with a cotton shell underneath and leggings. I am deducting one star because i find it difficult to button and unbutton.

Great dress but strange smell I can’t get rid of
I love this dress but the minute I tried it on it had a strange smell. I washed it in cold water as suggested and hang it out to dry. But the smell isn’t going away. Any ideas?

Good quality, but it doesn't fit well
The dress is well made with medium weight denim. I planned for it to be a workhorse in my wardrobe. I tried it on, and my husband says it does nothing for me and just hangs there. It will need a belt, add front/back darts or go back.

Cute Dress, Terrible Smell
Cute denim dress, but smells awful. I'm assuming it is from the dying process?? I have washed it once, but it will need 1-2 more washes to get rid of the bad smell. I am 5'1" and ordered this in an XS. The length on me is just passable for my business casual office attire. The curve up on the side could be a little too high on taller people, depending on your comfort level. I also ordered this same dress in the garment-dyed olive color, but sadly that dress was shorter with a higher curve on the side and definitely looked like I was wearing my husband's work shirt; that one will be returned.

Didn't Work for Me
There is a funky smell to the dress, not sure if it is the packaging or the dress itself. The style didn't work for me so it's going back. I can't remember the last time I returned anything from Bean but this one wasn't right for me.

I love this dress
This dress is a perfect denim shirt dress. A somewhat A line fit, not too short, nice medium weight denim so has some structure, has pockets. The hem is cut like a tuck in shirt. It's very comfortable dress. I love it. I have searched so long, they are always Tencel, or too fitted, or too short. I have not washed it yet, but I will use cold water on delicate and hang to dry, I think/hope it will be all good.
