Good choice
I bought this in M for me so the proportions are off - the body and sleeves are too long but the sleeves look good folded up and the length covers the butt. Although I would have preferred the women’s, it was sold out in the colors I liked so I bought the men’s because a previous reviewer said she had done it and I’m glad I did. It looks great with leggings and is nice and warm. The only improvement would be zippered pockets.

Can't wait for cool weather!.
I'm a woman and ordered this for myself because I love the color, loved the detailing on the men's style more than the woman's version, and wanted it longer and oversized. Perfect on all counts; it's a glorious deep teal-ish blue, love the zipper placket and it's just the right fit to wear over leggings on early morning fall dog walks! The sleeves are long enough that I'm going to add thumbholes to the wrists for hand warmth.

Great traveler
This a great pullover. It packs well and followed me through a month of Spain and Morocco in early spring with no problems. Dries quickly. Can't give a long-term review, but as of now I have zero complaints or concerns. I am 6-1, 200 lbs and the XL pullover is slightly roomy, what I would consider the correct amount.

Never been so comfortable in the cold!!
I have 10 sweater fleeces and live in ski country of Western New York. I have never been cold or uncomfortable while wearing them. They are ideal—and stylish—in this colder climate! I’m glad I discovered them.

Love it but showing wear after 1 wash
I bought this sweater for my husband as a Christmas present. He loves the fit, color and style. However, after washing it on delicate 1 time and drying it on low heat, the sweater is unfortunately starting to pill and look like it's very worn. Disappointed it in the quality for such a price.

Not What I Thought
The fit, material, and size was its usual perfect, 5 star rating. I thought the color was not what I thought it would be. I can't imagine it would be complimentary on anyone (to me it is more of a mustard color) and if my husband had not already worn it, I would have returned it--which would be a first having never returned an item to LLBean before.

I've bought several of these for my husband and he has had them for years. Perfect for going out and at times he wears them when he plows. A coat is too constricting. They are nice and warm and wash beautifully. I don't put them in the dryer. I think they stay better when you hand them up to dry. Also my husband is a big guy so it's great to get the larger sizes for him.
