Disapponting and expensive for what this is`
I received this set as a gift. My husband was so excited to give it to me, and ended up being disappointed because the pants in this set are ridiculously short! I am 5 ft 8 in and they hit well above my ankle. After washing, I'm sure they will be like Capris! The legs are also very wide at the bottoms, so they really look ridiculous. I wear regular size clothing in every other brand and never have an issue with length, so this set is definitely an outlier. I expected better from LL Bean, and for $89 for a basic waffle weave set of pajamas, they SHOULD be better. Returning.

Best pj’s I’ve ever had. I’m short so buying pj’s is difficult as they are usually too long. These (PM) fit perfectly. I love the waffle material and they are roomy. Went to purchase another but all colors sold out in my size.

These pajamas are nice and roomy just like I wanted. Also soft and warm, I was surprised to see they weren’t 100% cotton and for the price I think I would’ve preferred that. The blend makes them seem kind of cheap and I can shop at other retailers for that. I come to L.L. Bean for quality.

Terrible material
The waffle texture is cozy, but the fabric is of poor quality. The material shrunk terribly. The pants initially hit at my ankle, but after a cycle in the washer/dryer, they fall mid-calf. The fit is unflattering.

Too short after washing
Loved these until I washed them. The length of the pants and sleeves shrank a lot. For winter I need things to cover my legs without wearing knee socks. Other than that, they are fabulous.

Very large!
I sized down from my usual 1X to an XL and should have ordered an L. I’m 5’4” and the bottoms come all the way up within 2” of my breasts. The top is big, too. I ran the PJs through a hot wash and hot dry and only succeeded in shrinking the inseam about one inch. That said, the fabric and fabrication are outstanding and work the price. Having washed them, I will keep them but if you are on the fence, size down and consider petite.

Pant legs too baggy
I love the fabric and the fit of the top and waist of the pants. However, the legs are too baggy and get bunched up and almost immediately are above my knees. I would have loved these if the bottoms had had cuffs.

Waist uncomfortable
The fabric is amazing! I wear the top with jeans. BUT… the waistband is way too tight and large. Size 6 ordered a small and fits great besides the waistband! Way too high and uncomfortable!!! I literally cut it off!!!! Fits gray now! Unfortunate because I wanted to order more.

I like my PJs to be roomy, so I got a medium. I’m typically a 6/8 in LLBean. The top is a little large, but I much prefer that over tight for PJs. I definitely feel cozy in these!

Excellent 3 Season PJ's
I live in the Northwest and these are great for chilly fall, spring and milder winters. Yes they run larger but I found the waist ran small on me so I ordered my usual size ( PS) and love them. I prefer roomy PJ's and have to wear a compression garment on one leg so the stretchy pant legs are greatly appreciated. I just ordered a second pair (plumb rose)!

Enormous, but there's a plus to that
I own two pair of other Bean PJs that I wash on cold, then fluff for 6 minutes and hang to dry.
These are so monstrously large that I wash them on hot, and dry them on hot from dinner until bedtime. Benefits - no need to listen for the dryer bell and nice warm PJs to climb into on a cold night.

Fabric very thin
My order arrived yesterday, and I was so disappointed in the quality of the fabric. I washed the PJs before wearing them and they washed fine. But the fabric is very thin for a waffle knit. I think the quality would be helped if it had a higher cotton content. The cotton content is 59%, polyester is 39%, and 2% spandex. Also, I feel the waistband is much too wide. Its width causes it to ride up higher than your natural waistline, which then causes the rise to be a bit snug and uncomfortable. The length was fine for me. I am 5' 4" and the inseam measures 28 1/2". I feel these PJs are way overpriced at $89 for a product with such poor-quality fabric.

Very nice and warm
Comfortable and warm. Washes well. The pants are too long for me, as they always are. I am a little less than 5' tall. 28" inseam drags on the floor. I am not into shortening pants myself any more. I pull these up almost to my armpits and they no longer drag. Since they're pjs, that works. Why can't "petite" mean short, as it used to?

Cosy Waffle Knit
I debated buying this set because I thought it was pricey, but decided to get it anyway.
It's a lovely, cosy waffle knit pj that is great for just hanging out.
I bought my normal size, but I found it to be almost oversized. Maybe there's shrinkage, but I've washed and dried it and it came through OK. I think it just runs large. No one wants skin tight pjs anyway, right?
