This jacket is a great investment!
Fabulous jacket; worked perfectly on a recent trip. Very packable, and kept me comfortable in a very cold situation with intermittent light rain. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Highly recommend
This was exactly what I was looking for----a lined, lighter weight jacket that would keep me dry in the rain, as well as warm. It fits me perfectly. I took it to France with me and was not only easy to pack, but not stiff or rough feeling. It was also a great value---good price and excellent quality.

Rain jacket
Nice rain jacket with hood. Could use. Breast pocket. Zippered side pockets are handy. Sleeves a tad short.

rain jacket
I am only 5'1 and the jacket is way too short, especially for a rain jacket. I like the flannel lining and the snaps instead of velcro; but who wants a cropped rain jacket.

I see what one reviewer says about the shoulders. They don't fit as they should. I purchased a regular XL and the shoulders are snug. I won't be able to wear it with any sweater that has any bulk to it. If I get a 1X I'll bet the shoulders would fit perfectly but the body will be too big and stick out in the front. Over the years the sizing of their clothes has gotten worse. I have purchased pants in different colors snd the same size has been totally different, even to the point of snaps being in different places, making the waists fit differently.
I like this jacket because of the lining and may keep it even with the shoulder issue but may send it back. I really like the fact that the LLBean label is at the bottom in the same color as the jacket instead of yet another one of those loudly colored and large labels plastered at the top. Those labels have actually prevented me from purchasing particular items that I would have gotten had it not been for those loud and frankly kind of obnoxious labels. I'd still recommend this jacket because I'm sure many women will have no issue with the fit of the shoulders.

Nice jacket
Nice comfortable jacket with an attractive lining, good for colder as well as warm weather. Side pockets deep, with weather flaps and zippers (which don’t seem very sturdy). Wish their was an inner chest pocket.

Shoulders and arms too narrow
I love the design, material, and look of this jacket! And kudos to LLBean for listening to customers and giving us snaps instead of velcro and also putting the LLBean label on the hem instead of plastered like a badge across the chest. I love all of this! But, I have a high degree of frustration with many of LLBean jackets. The upper arms and shoulder area tend to be too fitted, while the body of the jacket fits fine. I usually wear a size SM but purchased a MD also in this jacket. The SM was too uncomfortably fitted in the upper body and arms. The MD fit "better" but I was surprised to find it more snug than I like. The body of the MD was boderlining on too loose, but I was OK with it. Honestly, I think a size LG would fit perfectly on top, giving me the room to move better, but I am afraid the body will be obnoxiously big. Having to size up to a LG to obtain a correct upper body fit, when my normal size is SM, seems a bit wrong to me. I am thin build also, so I have no idea what larger, more muscular gals will do. Too bad, because this is exactly what I was looking for in style. You can even see the jacket pulling in the upper arms of the model in the picture.
