One minor wish
I bought this coat to replace one very much like it I had but whose zipper began to become balky. I'm very happy with the new one except I wish the sleeves still had the inner cuff instead of the Velcro fasteners. Otherwise, it's warm, has a great hood and pockets, and is long enough to cover my thighs when I'm walking in the cold.

Love the coat, Not the Zipper!!!
I love this coat. But the zipper is truly awful. I've had this coat for a little over a year, I think. I've struggled with it since the beginning. Why is it so hard to make a working zipper that lasts over time? So sad. Come on LLBean please make this happen.

Nice coat!
Am 5' 7" and 210 lb. The 1X plus fits well! The waist has a drawstring to snug it to your shape. The fuzzy lining around the chest, back, shoulders and neck keep the cold out, and makes the hood warm on the ears when it's up. The arm lining does not stick to your shirt sleeves and drag them into your armpits. The shell keeps the wind from biting. The length covers my hips without being too much to wear in the car. At 30 degrees, it's not too heavy to wear. At minus 10 degrees, it is comfortably warm. Pockets are lined in such a way to be instantly warm when I tuck bare hands in. The pockets are angled and just deep enough that your cell phone won't fall out. I like the access to the inside pocket at chest level. Good and nice looking coat!

Good to Go...for a Walk!
I was looking for a coat to replace the one I have been wearing for the past 20 or so. This one pretty much fits the bill. However, I usually take a medium in most clothing so I chose that size for this item. It does fit well, but in the winter I tend to add many layers when going outside for my daily walk. As a result, this coat is almost a bit too trim. If I gain any weight, it just might be a bit too tight. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 125 lbs. As of right now, it is a perfect coat. Maybe this will be an incentive to stay at my present weight! I do struggle sometimes with the two way zipper, but that seems to happen with EVERY two way zipper I own. The sleeves are not lined as much as the rest of the coat is, but since I usually have on a sweater, this doesn't seem to be a problem. The hood makes for an excellent sun visor as well as a rain repellent. So far this winter in chilly New York, this coat has been a very good choice!

Comfortable and nice looking. The size was accurate. It is similar to a coat purchased from LL Bean many years ago but is a better fit and is more comfortable. After wearing the coat for about 30 days, it has proven to be a good purchase, and I would recommend it to others.

I love this coat. I have a black one that I have had for years. I wanted a different color. My black one is a small petite and that is what I ordered in this coat. The sizing changed. I had to re-order an extra small petite and it fits perfectly. I love it. It's a warm, nice looking coat. It suits my needs.

Nice, but not as good as the original
Comfortable and mostly satisfied, but I had a hunter green version of this coat that I loved and am disappointed it no longer exists. I purchased the light olive which is lovely, but dirt shows on it easily. The cuffs have changed and no longer have the interior fleece lining. A nice coat overall, but definitely not as good as the original.

Love this coat!!
I’m in love with this coat! The light sage green coat is gorgeous and perfect for wearing during the dark, gloomy rainy season and it’s the perfect warmth too. It fits very well and is an excellent length. I love the furry fleece inside the body and hood. I have only worn it 3 times so far so I haven’t had to wash it yet.

Not a warm coat
Coat is well constructed, and the fabric appears to be durable. Insulation does not provide enough warmth for me, even when worn with a PrimaLoft jacket underneath. The generous sized hood lacks any type of front to back adjustment for smaller heads.

Perfect for southern winter
Love the coat! It’s the perfect fit, length, and weight for my coastal southern winters. Arrived a few days before the record breaking Snow. ❄️ it handled the wind, cold, and wet snow and kept me warm and dry. Love the hood on it - easy and quick to adjust. I’m impressed that LL Bean can compare another company’s sizes and recommend a great fit. Pockets are lined and big enough for an iPhone or Galaxy.

Love this winter jacket!
I bought this coat years ago and realized it’s starting to show its age, so I decided to buy another one just like it to put in the closet for when the time comes that I need to have another winter coat. I have worn this coat for many a winter and would be lost without it. It is my favorite winter coat of all time. The fit, the length, the warmth, the ease Of the zipper. It washes great.

Womens Warmer Winter Coat
Looked like the same coat I ordered several years ago but not as warm in our WI cold weather as my prior coat. This one doesn’t have sewn in cuffs, but has Velcro to tighten the area around the wrist instead, not as nice looking. The inside chest zipper pocket is still there which comes in handy but the outside slit pockets don’t seem to be as deep. I am disappointed in the changes they made. I’ll keep it as I need it but next time I’ll do better homework! 1/28/25

Warm coat. Double zipper, allows the bottom to open if needed. Arm length is questionable. If they put a cuffs in the openings, I would have given a 5.
