Nice shirt but oversized
It's a really nice shirt, but even the XS is too big for me. In the last couple of years, most of what I have ordered for myself from LLBean has been oversized and had to be returned.

I LOVE this shirt, and I have been searching for one like this to replace an old favorite that has seen better days. Cotton is always my preference in the heat of summer, because of the heat and humidity in the southeast. I’m very happy with the sizing and fit of this garment, and I hope to get another color soon. The sleeves are longer than I need , but it may shrink some. I’ve washed once and haven’t noticed any shrinkage, but I pulled it out of the dryer after 10 minutes on low.

Bought this shirt in white and the fabric is so thin and transparent you can see everything through the shirt. The shirt was not all white the collar, cuffs and pockets and button seam was white and the body of the shirt looked yellowed like it was a different material from the rest of the shirt. In the picture the fabric looks more substantial. I assume that the coloured shirts would not have this problem. I also found the fit small, does not fit away from the body as described.
I am returning the shirt.

This shirt's fit was described as -furthest from the body. I ordered my usual size and the shirt was too tight, had to order a size larger. I expected it to be relatively wrinkle free but it needs to be ironed. Nevertheless I do like it.

Soft, comfortable shirt
This shirt is very soft & comfortable! The shoulder seam is lower on the arm than most shirts, but I think that’s the way it’s made based on the pictures. I like it a lot. With LL Bean; you get what you pay for- and it’s price is pretty high; but I was willing to pay it & will enjoy wearing it.

I found a perfect shirt
I bought this shirt to wear to work on more casual days. It really stays comfortable all day and feels well constructed. I wear a medium but sometimes worry about the fit across the bust. This shirt isn't too blousy or boxy and skims the body nicely.
