Bermuda patchwork shorts
Love these shorts! The length is perfect. I am 5'6" and the shorts fall about one inch above my knee. I weigh about 135 and my size is somewhere between a 10 and 12. I got the 10 and because they give a little the fit is perfect. The small slit on the side gives extra room when I cross my legs. I have several others in this style but different plaids. Living in Florida I wear shorts almost every day. Wish they made more colors. Love them all.

Fantastic shorts!
I love the colors, the softness and lightness of the material, the length, and the fit: 10 Regular fits me perfectly. They pair well with lots of colors. I've gotten tons of compliments each time I've worn them. I wanted the Cirrus Blue pinstripe ones, which were the same style and fabric, but they are already sold out. I wish you'd bring them back!!

Great shorts but sizing different now
These are great shorts! Have several over the years and never wear out. Sizing was issue this time but returning for a size smaller worked (even though I haven’t changed in size). Please continue to carry these Bean!

Zero Stretch
I'm not sure why they named these "Comfort Stretch Shorts" as they have absolutely no stretch. I see now the description says 100% cotton, but I did not read that before ordering (and returning). They are cute, but again, no stretch at all. Also run small; my ususal size is 14 and I ordered 16 but still way too tight.

FIt was off, too high waisted, not like last year
I love madras plaid shorts and buy many from LL Bean, but they raised the waist and they're awful. So glad I bought 2 extra pairs last year and put them away for this summer. Madras shorts are mid-rise! Never changes style. I already took the tags off and will end up tossing them. Unwearable.

High waisted but needed more rise room.
Fit was off for me. Even though it has a high rise, it gave me a bit of a wedgie and was otherwise loose fitting everywhere else. For the price, even if the fit was tolerable they were otherwise unremarkable. I really wanted to like these.

Really wanted to like these - liked the sales price and fabric print. Although they were a higher waisted style of shorts, they gave me a wedgie. The waist was too large, but the hips were a better fit. Just wasn't constructed right for me so returning. Size 10

Great summer weight short. Not a heavy cotton and not too light. I have numerous pants in size 12 but order up a size for shorts so they are more breathable. I have the same shorts in the lighter yellow, grey print. Wish you made them in a Nantucket red. Sizing is right. Cut is longer and the fabric has nice stretch. 5’2”, 162,
