Well....
These two-eye boat shoes seem to run small. I normally wear size 7 and ordered 7.5 just in case. With thin socks they are a bit uncomfortable out of the box. The length seems short. If you remove the cushy insole, they feel about the right length for a size 7. The leather ties allow for good adjustment and the mist blue color is beautiful. Perhaps when the insole begins to conform to my feet, the shoes will be more comfortable. As far as construction, they seem to be very well fabricated. The seams around the toe box are neat with no unfinished-looking edges. The lining on the sides all the way back from just under the leather part is sort of a suede fabric (probably synthetic) that is very soft on the foot. The inside is padded around the back edge starting where the leather tie flaps meet the top. The toe box does not seem to be lined at all; its inside surface seems to be the back side of the outer fabric so that the toe box feels thin on top. The sole has at least two layers. The upper white material is softer and gives when you press it between your fingers. The brown (bottom) portions of the sole are textured and feel "grippy." The shoes should give good traction and the soft layer should make them easy on the feet. I recommend them but suggest ordering a full size up. (Maybe it's just me and my feet??)

Skid-free Moccasins
I love every aspect of the shoes except for the cloth that much of the shoe is made of--I have a hole where the big toe goes in each shoe. Maybe the shoes are too small in length. Otherwise, when the ground is wet, the shoes prevent me from skidding.

I purchased these shoes last spring, before a vacation that involved a lot of walking. these shoes are as comfortable as they are attractive. I bought the blue; wish they came in more color cjoices.

I think I'll enjoy them
Shoes are what I expected. They are not for long distance or difficult terrain wear but that should be obvious from their appearance. They are comfortable for around the house and shopping trips. Sizing seems to be accurate. Goof for my intended use.

Cute boat shoes
My feet are very hard to fit. That said I can only wear them for a short time and not a lot of walking until I figure out if I’ll have a trouble area. So far so good. These are well made and pretty comfortable.

Nice shoe; foot moves more with fabric uppers
Boat shoes I was looking for, on sale; length is good and width comfortable but the fabric uppers allow a bit more movement inside shoe than a leather upper. Takes getting used to.
