Nice travel mug
Nice size, the handle is handy and it still fits in my car cup holder. The top just presses on but works fine, I like the fact that there are not a lot of difficulty to get to and clean parts in the lid. Made in China.

Too bad the lid will not securely stay on
I purchased one XL mug, but the lid was not secure. I exchanged the first mug for a second mug, hoping for a more securely fitting lid. Dissappointed a second time. If you plan on traveling out of the house with this mug, I cannot recommend it. On the positive side, it does keep beverages hot/cold for a long time, even when in advverse conditions. Too bad the lid is flawed, otherwise it would be 5-stars. A screw or twist top lid would fix the lid problem.

Great coffee mug
I purchased this as a gift for my husband. We chose the LL Bean mug over other brands due to the craftsmanship of the handle being welded on instead of screwed in. The size makes fitting into the cupholder of our vehicles easy. Love the LL Bean design, the mountains are calling!

Great travel mug with handle
Keeps items hot or cold for hours. I love that it has the handle and fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car. I read the reviews prior to purchasing the mug and was a bit skeptical due to some negative comments about the lid but luckily the lid on my mug works fine. I do wish the mug, or at least the lid was top rack dishwasher safe like some other “to go” cups that I have. If it was, I’d have given it 5 stars.

Keeps liquids desired temperature; take care with
This travel mug keeps liquids hot or cold as intended for at least an hour. Built well to fit in cup holders in cars and to pick up to drink. Need to be a little careful as you drink from it. Lid has a plastic seal around it to hold it on as the lid is pushed onto the top. The lid can loosen a bit as you tip it to your mouth if lid is hot. Really prefer the previous design in which the lid screwed onto the cup. That was more secure.

Regrets.
The mug keeps my tea hot, but is difficult to drink from. If I take the cover off, I can burn my lips on the metal interior rim. Sipping with the cover in place is awkward since one has to really tilt the cup. Also the slide which opens & closes the opening is the most awkward of any of thermal mugs I've owned. The good part is that it probably won't leak when closed. The bad part is opening or closing in the car or on the trail. At home, its large size is great at keeping tea or coffee hot & just pouring a smaller amount in a conventional cup while keeping the balance hot for a 2nd cup.

Excellent travel mug
This mug kept my coffee warm for over 4 hours on an exceptionally cold, raw (temps less than 20) day. I like that my hand fits in the handle easily. and that it holds more than 8 ounces of liquid.

Sturdy and effective
Excellent coffee mug! Designed as intended, keeping beverages hot (cold, too, I presume, although it's winter now lol), and the lid seals nicely. I've run it through the dishwasher a few times since arrival and no degradation of rubber sealant, etc. Have since bought a couple more of the same product. Thanks, L.L. Bean!
