Could be great but…
Found I had the same thoughts as some others. I so wanted to love these but the fit is strange and not very comfortable. Even with my very narrow feet, they still felt too narrow. The inner material is also not completely attached so the outer material doesn’t stay put and as soon as I even slipped my foot into one sock, the outer part was already not sitting on my foot properly. Bummer!

So wanted to love these!
I’ve been a decades long Bean customer, and happy with many of my purchases still. But these socks do not live up to the brand. They are narrow and shorter than I thought, but extremely plush at first. After the 1st wash (& air dry) they look like they’ve been through the wars and at least a few years old instead of 2 weeks! They’re not nearly as plush either. For the price these are a huge flop. Sorry Bean, but pull these from your shelves.

Cozy At-Home Socks
These are indeed cozy and are a great substitute for slippers around my apartment. The only change I would suggest is to extend the little non-skid dots on the bottom farther back on the heels of the socks so the heel doesn't wear out prematurely.

Very Nice Slipper Socks with Good Gripper Bottoms
These are very good "slipper socks" for around the house. The gripped bottoms hold well on our wood floors. The medium just fits my size 9 women's foot. The only reason I gave these 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the inner fleece has to be worked a little as you get it on your foot. I've had socks like these before and that is quite normal. Note that the tops are loose on the leg, not tight fitting elastic.

Absolutely love them! My feet get cold in bed even with flannel sheets so I bought these super cushy socks to wear in bed. They are wonderful! I do not need the beaded bottoms for better traction on smooth floors, but the beaded bottoms are an added feature for many people.

Grippy yet slippy
The concept of these socks seems great until you actually try to wear them. While the sole does grip, the slippery nature of the outer sock and inner lining makes your foot slide forward or side to side inside the sock in unexpected ways. Ironically, these socks are a potential fall hazard.

Cozy - but be careful
The slippers are in fact very cozy, but if you're looking for complete traction on the bottom of your foot, I'd suggest sizing up. I'm a W size 7 and purchased the M. The nubby rubber bumps do not extend to cover the entire sole, and when my heel hits a tile or wooden floor, it is very slippery and causes me to skid. After a few almost-falls, I'm only wearing these when lounging.

Love these socks! Great for keeping my feet toasty warm. I love, too, that I can wear socks in the house and not slip on the floors. I’m a size 9 Women’s, and they are a little snug on my feet. May consider sizing up as they run a little small.

Comfortable and warm but fall apart
I have had these for a week. Amazingly warm and cozy but after wearing them 2 times they have a hole on the inside fleece and are coming apart. Disappointed for what they cost they should last more then 2 wears.
