MT fits my son perfectly (6’2/155). Soft neckline and comfy 100% organic cotton weave. Gifted both orange/green and blue/walnut. A sweater than can be dressed up or dressed down. Muted, earthy colors! Thrilled with this buy!

Heirloom Quality!
This is my second LL Bean roll neck sweater. Both are outstanding quality and comfort! The size guide is spit on. The cotton material is easy on the skin and warm. I receive nice compliments when wearing these sweaters. When I'm short for this life, I'm sure these will be passed down in the family.

I purchased this sweater in the Light Taupe Heather Mallard size medium. I would say it fits true to size and on initial unpackaging felt like good quality, however after washing it once per instructions and air drying it the cotton material looks as though I’ve had and worn this for years already. It looks pilled, faded, and frayed - overall terrible for having only been washed once and never even worn. It might be the lighter colors in this colorway but I am pretty unimpressed with the quality for the price. Luckily from a distance it looks decent, but again I would have expected better for the price. Overall this does not stand up to the quality I expect from L L Bean and I am disappointed with my purchase.

It's a beautiful sweater. It fits well. My only complaint is that it is a lot heavier than I had hoped for. I guess I will like it more as the weather continues to get colder.

Great Looking Sweater!
Very nice sweater, a little on the heavier side but that’s fine. Looks great with jeans or chinos and the sizing was well explained. Normally I wear a large but because of the trimmer fit XL fits perfectly.

I have some success buying men's small tops, anticipating that the sleeves will be long. This sweater has a beautiful drape and weight and is well made. I am 5ft7in tall and 142lb and the small fits beautifully, folding the cuffs. The grey/red is subtly festive for the Holiday Season.

Retro Mallard sweater flashback
I wish I'd bought the original Signature fair-Isle lambswool version of this sweater back in the mid-2000's, but this is a nice alternative; albeit with less decoration. I do like the raglan sleeves, and I guess the lighter, but still substantial cotton fabric, which should afford three season wear. The roll neck is also a nice, casual touch.
