Liked The Shirt But It Shrunk Like Crazy
After only two washings, with low temp drying, this shrunk so much that it no longer fits. Otherwise, I like the shirt for the most part. As some other reviewers have noted, it does have a really unusual cut - Slim fit, yet somehow boxy. Could also be an inch or so longer even though it's designed to be worn untucked. Liked the look and feel of the shirt, just couldn't make the size work for me.

Missed the mark
Dark color with white flecks - looked like it was covered in lint. Didn't like the fit either. Not a slim fit like LLBean flannel slim fits are. And I felt like it shrunk up in the body length after one cold wash - weird because the sleeves were fine.

Needs improvement, does not fit as expected.
The good: this fabric has a nice feel, drape and appearance. The bad: the dimensions of this garment are off - 1. The shirt is too short to wear tucked 2. The sleeves are too big in diameter from the wrist to the shoulder. I have worn LL Bean shirts for more than 30 years and this was a rare disappointment but I’m sure my tailor was pleased.

Awful Fit
Ordered my normal shirt size and the sleeves are too long and the overall fit is so boxy. The length of the shirt is also short. This is worth $5 at most.

Beware slim fit
I purchased an XL size of this shirt. Did not know that this style comes exclusively in Slim Sizes. Who ever heard of XL Slim? Am considering trying an XXL Slim, but who ever heard of that size? Why not manufacture it in NORMAL?

Two different fits for same shirt and size ordered
I was one for two on this shirt in different colors. One received was larger tall slim fit and the same size ordered on another was not. They were both ordered on the same webpage and advertised as slim fit in the size and fit section. Felt like I was swimming in the one that was not labeled on the shirt “slim” fit.

One Small Annoyance
Excellent quality. "Traditional Fit" and it does even though I'm on the high end of traditional. Lacking one thing however. The other long sleeve shirts I've purchased from Bean have 2 buttons on the cuff, this has only one. Since these days, sleeve lengths are approximate, I could use that second button.

Fabric Wrinkles
This shirt came with wrinkles and after washing were still there. I steamed it like I have done with many other shirts and fabrics and the creases were better. After wearing for a few hours I noticed after I sat down back of shirt was badly wrinkled. Will be sending back.

Title(?) of shirt lacking
I’m 5’11”, 175 pounds and ordered a regular large. The shirt description does not include the term “slim” and, this shirt is far too small for comfort. In addition, though the pictures are accurate, I had no idea the shirt really MUST be worn outside pants or jeans. Sitting down the shirt pulls out of my pants! Love the fabric but, whomever made this shirt was cutting corners in the use of fabric. One washing and I’d have to pass it along to a much smaller man.

Love the fabric, but this is not a tall shirt!
So, I love the fabric and the color, but the shirt has one issue that is a deal breaker for me. It says it's a tall, but it's not a tall (in comparison with other LL Bean shirts).
One of the reasons I end up here time after time is LLBean has my size. I have a tall body (36" sleeves, and a correspondingly long torso). The shirt is okay as far as the sleeve length, but the body length is not a tall, but a regular.
My only issue is the size, and if I didn't have a closet full of tall shirts from LL Bean, I would think it was what LL Bean thought was a "tall', but it's just not as long.
I feel bad about leaving this review, as I do love my other shirts, and haven't ever left a review of them (or the pants I love either), but if this is the new "tall", I'm going to have to find a different company for shirts. I'm hoping this was a supplier/manufacturer issue, and is not the new "shrinkflation" sizing. I really do wish this fit, as the cloth is really nice, and the color is fantastic.
