Basically good quality but some disappointment
Still great quality of material and stitching that you expect from LL Bean. They fit fine at first, after the original cold wash. Now, after the second, warm (not hot) wash, they have shrunk a bit and aren't true "hung off the hip-bone" high rise. They feel kinda like they're sliding down--I keep wanting to hoist them up. (I'll probably get used to it.)

Perfect jeans
It"s really hard for me to find jeans that I like. These are perfect! Petite size that is petite in length but not short waisted and fabric that is soft with the right amount of give. I love the slightly cropped length too.

Good Not Perfect
I ordered the 8 M/T and 10 R to see which fit was best. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 120 lbs. The 8 fit the best and was the least baggy around the bottom and hips. The length was long and will have to be worn with heels. The 10, while more comfortable in the waist, was huge around the hips. The regular length was more cropped and looked out of proportion on me, even though that look is on-trend. I have a very straight figure with small hips and flat bottom so I keep chasing the perfect pants to fit both waist and hips. The 8 is acceptable but not perfect. Just me and something I have to deal with in pants no matter who I purchase from! The fabric is stretchy and just the right weight.

Nope!
For the life of me, I can’t figure out why jeans are made like this. They look ridiculous! They look like they shrunk horribly after being washed and dried. I remember crying as a kid if pants fit me like this, by way of not being long enough.

So maddening
I can't understand sizing. I buy the same size/style as my blue jeans and the white ones are always a half size smaller. Add to that, why would you have a size 18 waist and hip, but put a size 14 leg on them? They fit OK in the waist/hip, but the legs are way too tight. So back they go. Again....every year.

Rise problem
Tried these on and length and flare were perfect but the rise was bizarre, opposite of what I normally run into. The back was high rise and the front was much lower--not even what I'd consider as mid rise. These would be perfect if they were a higher and closer to even all around the waist. Maybe ok if you have bigger caboose and flatter tummy? I find most of LL Bean pants way too long for petite size unfortunately.

It says ANKLE people.. so yes they will be shorter
Love these! I got them in white and bought two pairs. I’m 5’3 125 lbs and I would normally wear a 4 but bean is a little tight so I got a 6 and they are perfect even with the stretch. Yes they are an ankle Jean and the hem is not finished as noted.
Because I’m short they fall at the ankle.. look at the inseam measurements. If you’re shorter than I am order petite if you want a try ankle cut. They are super nice and fit perfect. I definitely have a butt so these are great.. 10/10

I am 5' tall so the length of these jeans fits as normal pants, which is what I was hoping for. If you are curvy, with a bigger behind and smaller waist, these will be perfect for you. There is no gapping at the waste, which is great. The only reason I took off one star is because when they say "stretch" they mean it. At the end of the day these jeans are a little baggie from stretching out. Also, I am not too fond of the color, it is more of an old school jean color instead of the more stylish darker color. With that said though, because of the great fit, I would consider buying another pair.

A little tighter than my other size 4 Bean jeans. Also, there's no seam sewn around the bottom hem like other brands, so they will continue to unravel. I sew, so I did that myself.

These are the BEST JEANS I have ever worn.
I'm petite so have a challenging time finding jeans that fit properly. I usually wear petite 4 or regular 4 jeans. I purchased these in size 4 Regular Tall and they are just the right length to wear with flats or boots. Always get compliments each time I wear them. I've tried on high-end jeans and am willing to spend ample amounts for good jeans and these fit the bill. Thank you, LL Bean!

Too small around waist
Most petite size 12 products in almost all other products - are large and give me wiggle room and room to shrink - which is why I buy that size. These were too small to even button - about 4 inches in fact. While the petite large soft sweats were about 8 to 9 inches too large. There should be consistency in the sizing. Your quality of the material was good

I love this so much, I bought two! I love a stylish, good fit jean and I have some of the most expensive jean collection but this one tops it all. I am surprisingly shocked at how look it makes you, the high rise, the butt, the legs, the fit is just phenomenal. I AM IN LOVE and also gifted this to my friend who loves it. Strange Inseams
Why are the inseams so short? Sorry, but these are what we used to call "highwaters". Wouldn't have worn them years ago and certainly wouldn't wear them now. The flood is over.
