These breathable, ultra lightweight hiking pants are made with all the performance features you need on the trail and the classic style you want when you're back in town.
We took our customer-favorite VentureStretch fabric, now made with recycled polyester, and designed these pants to support a more active lifestyle. From the easy pull-on styling to the made-to-move stretch, gearing up to spend time outside has never been easier or more comfortable.
- Our blend of 86% recycled polyester and 14% spandex feels light as air with a smooth, silky texture.
- UPF 50+ rated fabric blocks at least 97.5% of the sun's UV rays.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Adjustable drawcord at ankle to cinch or shorten.
- Back loop is perfect for a carabener and large enough to pull a light layer through.
- Comfortable elastic stretch waistband with adjustable drawcord.
- Two front pockets, two back zippered pockets to store small valuables.

Love these pants
Great style, fabric, and construction. And value. I wear size 14P and the fit is great, just enough roominess for comfort, but not baggy. I loved the firzt pair so mu h I bought two more in different colors.

I liked the material although it could be a little more substantial. The waist fit great and the rise was perfect. But the legs are too wide and the medium tall is too short in length.

LL Bean Women's Straight Leg Success
Wash and wear perfect pants.
Look good. Comfortable. Not too tight, not too loose. For hiking, a jaunt to the beach on a cool day, and apres cycling. If that isn't enough, there is no "break in" period.

Wide Leg
I like these pants. They are comfortable (once I got the right size) and I like the thin fabric that dries in a flash. I tried the medium and large sizes. I am 5'4" and 165 and I could just squeeze into the M, so I got the L and they are a much better fit. As for the hem, they are pretty wide on the large. The medium hem is 7 3/4 across and the large is 8 1/4 across. The medium is not so wide that the hem would bother me, but the hem on the large is wide enough that it has a lot of movement when I walk. I won't wear these to work because of that, but they'll be fine for walking the dog and other things around the house.

These pants are more like a nylon sheath, not what I expected for Bean quality and price. Also the medium tall inseam was off - not as described. Sadly, this item was returned.

Strange fit.
I like the thinner material, as we usually hike in the desert. These would breath well and be cooler. My problem was the fit. They were baggy and had a lot of extra fabric around the hip and pocket area. They fit fine in the legs and waist, the inseam was ok. Just too much going on with the pockets, I sent them back.

Best pants for extremely hot weather
I bought this pant in three colors for trip to Zion National Park and surrounding area. So happy I did because it has been so hot. Great sun protection and they dry so quickly from perspiration or rain. So comfy with elastic waist also. Thanks for making such a nice pant.

Comfortable, and wrinkle free!
Very comfortable for a long day of travel! If you tend to chill on flights, this fabric provided no warmth, and I used a jacket to cover my legs. They cleaned up beautifully, no wrinkles, even after wearing them for 14 hours on a travel day.

Legs a little too wide.
I purchased this pair for travel/ walking. I think they will fry fast in case of rain. I ordered the tall and they’re definitely long enough. I just wish the legs were a bit slimmer in the thigh and calf. A bit too much material for walking. They are also a tiny bit short in the stride, otherwise comfortable.

My uniform!
I have several in dark colors and I was happy to see it offered in a light color. Depending on what they are paired with, these can be worn as daily casual or for travel. The fabric is so comfortable and is easy care. I will continue to buy this style.

Nice and lite but a little tight in the legs in 1X
I bought these in 1X (the same size in which I buy the perfect fit pants) about two weeks ago. Finally a pant generous enough in the lower leg in size 1X but it is a little too snug in the seat and thighs. Otherwise a very nice and super light fabric for summer. I will keep them but may try a size 2X for my next pair. I so wish all pants would fit as well as the Perfect Fit Pants Straight Leg...

I bought these pants because I'm heading to Yellowstone next week and thought they would be good for hiking. I got them in the mail last week and I have been wearing them ever since. These pants are very light and comfortable, I love them! I'm going to buy another color.
