A handsome quarter-zip sweater made of 100% merino wool for luxurious softness, in a season-spanning midweight knit.
These classic sweaters were inspired by our own outdoor sporting sweaters and named after the beautiful, rugged Rangeley Lakes region of Maine. Made of 100% merino wool for a supersoft feel, they're designed to be lighter in weight than many wool sweaters, so they can be worn most months of the year.

Wonderful sweater
bought three of these for my husband and son. fits well and beautiful design. Merino wool makes it warm without weight and not itchy. Got Navy blue and charcoal gray. The grey is a bit more interesting looking with flecks in the yarn but both super nice.

Nice sweater but….
Just return this item, while I liked the style, weight of the wool (not bulky or flimsy), the size (large) was too snug. I’ve been purchasing LL bean clothes for years and the sizes across all items were consistent, which is great when purchasing via mail order. With other brands, when an item listed as large is too snug, then you exchange for x-large and it’s too big it’s disappointing. I’m an LL Bean large, so hopefully the sizing of this on this sweater line in an enigma. LL Bean, please ensure your sizes keep consistent across all your items.

Great Sweater!
Got this sweater for my husband for Christmas and it fits him perfectly and he loves it! The arm length and body length is just perfect for his frame (5'7") . Most sweaters are too long in the body and arm for him and this one is just right.
