A handsome crewneck sweater made of 100% merino wool for luxurious softness, in a season-spanning midweight knit.
These classic sweaters were inspired by our own outdoor sporting sweaters and named after the beautiful, rugged Rangeley Lakes region of Maine. Made of 100% merino wool for a supersoft feel, they're designed to be lighter in weight than many wool sweaters, so they can be worn most months of the year.

Good sweater for cold weather
Not for light chills. This sweater keeps me warm. I wear it shooting Sporting Clays. It doesn't restrict movement and allows me to follow through on shots. On top of that, it looks good.

Fantastic Merino Wool Sweater
I own this Sweater in two colors. This is a tightly woven Merino wool. It's NOT thin. The beauty of Merino wool is that's it's soft and warm. I own quite a few LL Bean sweaters. This is my favorite. I have found ll Bean sweaters run Large. I am normally a Medium, but I always order their sweaters in Small

Very nice, but not practical for me
Wow! I ruined this sweater by throwing it in the wash with other clothes. It shrank at least three sizes. It was nice while it lasted, but I don't have time to pay special attention to something like this. Make sure you follow the care instructions.

Large Tall is a slim fit.
I bought this sweater a few weeks ago as a large tall. Im 6”5 240 and it’s a slim taylored fit. Get an xl tall for a roomier fit.

Warm and cozy & perfect for this winter
