Our heaviest-weight flannel shirt in handsome stripes, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Very Disappointing Shirt!
Very disappointed in this shirt. When I received it, it was a very nice looking shirt. The colors were great, the fit was good, and the material had a soft supple smooth feel or texture to it. An expensive shirt, but well worth the price. Well I have washed it twice, following the directions on the label (low heat), etc. Immediately after the first wash the feel and texture of the material began to change. Now after two washes, the material is no longer soft supple and smooth. The material is now rough and coarse feeling (like an old worn out flannel shirt). I can't imagine what this shirt will be like when it has been washed five or ten times! I would not recommend this shirt to anyone, unless they desire the rough coarse texture material. Very rare to get products like this at LL Bean.

Striped flannel, Yes!
Nice change from squares and blocks, to stripe pattern. As soon as I saw it. I knew that I had to have it. Soft and warm, fits great 👍
