Just what I was looking for
I have been looking for a new lightweight puffer jacket. I decided to try this one because I like the colorblocking. I ordered the medium based on the size chart, it fits great! Bean tops can be too short in the sleeve for me but not this jacket. Love the length—long enough to cover me fully but not too long. It’s the perfect weight for me in the south. It’s been great for walking the dogs. Wore it driving for 11 hours, and it was very comfortable. While I think zip pockets would be more functional, I don’t mind the snap ones. They’re deep enough I don’t fear my phone falling out while walking the dogs.
I liked it so much I immediately ordered it in black to replace my current black puffer jacket. So glad I tried this jacket!

Great lightweight coat
I wanted a run around coat that wasn’t bulky and was comfortable driving. I also wanted an attached hood so unexpected rain or snow wouldn’t surprise me as I went about my business. I knew this wasn’t the warmest coat and dressing in layers was recommended. All true. For me this has been a good choice but if you’re spending time outside for long periods of time and like to be warm, look elsewhere.

Great coat
Love this coat. Keeps me warm on cool fall days in the Midwest and does a great job blocking the wind. Usually a medium in tops, so I bought the medium in the coat and it fits great. Not too tight in the chest with a sweatshirt or sweater underneath.

Quality upgrade for my old spring/fall coat.
Was looking to replace an old LLBean favorite of mine from over a decade ago. I dug online for something that looked similar and ordered the size I found on my old coat’s tag. Fits exactly the same and will serve me for the next decade or so as my shoulder-season coat! A plus? It’s cuter than the old one! Yay!

Lightweight But Warm
I was skeptical about this keeping me warm because it is not bulky at all. I wore this to walk the dog in 3deg Celsius, 50km/hr winds with only a thin sweater underneath. This kept me warm. Zipper smooth and easy. Big pockets - although, I would have preferred zippered pockets. Love the colours, very stylish.

This is a beautiful color combination. I wish it worked out. It is light weight so comfortable. The hood flopped onto my face and since there’s no adjustment on it, it just didn’t work for me.

Perfect Fall Jacket
I absolutely love this lightweight but warm jacket. I've worn it from 38 to 55 degrees, and it was just right. The jacket is slightly fitted, and the 3/4 length is ideal. I can't rave about this enough.

Love, love, love this coat. It is warm without the bulk. Covers all the fun stuff and comes in some pretty fun colors!
I bought the short version 2 years ago. I used it for 95% of the winter. Winters in the Chicagoland area have been pretty mild, so this was perfect.
When I received my newest catalong an seen the longer version? Well, I had to have it! It will be perfect for evening dog walks and morning strolls. I'm excited for the cool weather to try it out!

It just fits well. For me this was a rare find.. I was happy to get a white coat for overcast days..
I am fairly curvy and this balances my hips and shoulders. Seems to warm to wear in temperatures over 45 F or so.. Bean please add zippered pockets!! We really need them.

Very good looking and comfortable Puffer Coat
This puffer coat is a nice in between for winter and spring and is wind and water resistant. I have worn it when I don"t need my heavier wool coat. It is light and very comfortable. I bought it in a lighter color of Shore/Paperwhite and like the nice contrast of the colorblock at the top. I bought it in a Medium to allow layered clothing underneath and it fits very well.

Great light weight but warm jacket!
Love this jacket. I have the short version but wanted longer with a hood and this is perfect. Light weight, easy to move in and flattering to my shape. I did order up from my normal LL Bean size which I had to do with the shorter version as well. 5’10, 230 lbs and I ordered a 1x. My normal size is XL or L in tops.

Why this coat was not acceptable.
Size and fit were as expected, but the zipper was a fight that was not going to go away due to the manner of sewing at the site. I returned it without reordering because in addition to the zipper problem, it was not as warm as I needed.
