Way too baggy in the waist
I really wanted to like these crop pants, they looked good when I first put them on and were quite comfortable. However, it quickly became apparent that the waist band does not work. I ordered a petite 6 which is my usual size, sometimes even a bit tight in petite but these keep sliding down. It doesn’t matter how tight I tie the waist band, there is obviously an issue with the elastic waist.

I love other Bean wide-legs but not these
I have several other pairs of Bean wide-leg pants that I really like, but these are less flattering and comfortable than any of them. I tried these for color variation. I have the Lakewash pull-on chinos, which look like they should fit basically the same as these, but these are boxier and sloppier. These legs are narrower, and the waistline is higher, so they're less flattering and comfortable for me. I also have the cotton/tencel ankle utility pants and love them - but these are shorter than those, even though they're both ankle pants. Overall the legs on these are narrower than my other wide leg pants, and shorter than my other ankle pants, and I have to pull them up higher on my waist- which means that they're overall less flattering and comfortable for me. I'm 5'5" and a semi-fit 150 lbs, 39", 32", 41". I got the Lakewash chinos in petite and those fit exactly how I want: just at my ankle - though I have two pairs of those and one is shorter than the other. I would expect ankle pants to be about the same length as regular petites, and that's true for another style of Bean wide-leg ankle pants - but not these. I wish there was more color variety in some of the other styles, and I would have been happy just to buy more of the Lakewash chinos. I love those. It seems like Bean offers a couple dark boring options, and then a really light option, but not much in between. There's usually a combination of navy, dark grey, maybe army green, maybe light blue and beige. I always love army green but I wish there were more earthy options: anything on the sand spectrum from beige to rust to desert earth red, an eggplant, more brown variations, etc. I tried the pink-ish color in these, since I already have army green and brown in other styles and it's ok.

Nice fabric not my style
I bought these pants mainly because they are made of cotton with a little bit of stretch. I find that cotton is more comfortable in warm weather than most of the synthetic blends. Unfortunately I did not like the style. The legs were really really wide. I’m short so the look didn’t work for me. I returned them.

Fits like a cropped pant
This photo doesn’t match the product but I love the ripstop material and the tealish blue is attractive. However, the pant feels more of a shorter cropped pant in the petite size and is just slightly snug (I prefer a loose fit) which is why it got four not five stars. I am still like it and plan to keep it, hoping it will fit better when I lose a few pounds.

Run a little large
LOVE the color, the fabric and the length. I am nearly 5'4" (5' 3 3/4") so I struggle finding a pant length that suits me when it comes to petites. I went with the regular length on these and they are a great length, the petite inseam would've been too short for me. I got a small and should've gone with an xs but I didn't want to be too tight in the summer heat, but with the tie in the waist I can make them fit snug enough. I'm 124lbs and lean build. Hope this information helps someone...all that being said, I'm back to order another color because they're super comfy!!!

Great casual pair of pants
I love these capri pants - they are comfortable, lightweight, have a nice "give" in the fabric and look great on. They do tend to wrinkle a bit - but not too much. Just enough that they are a more casual pair of pants. I have a narrow waist, but have hips. This style is not a perfect fit for someone like me since the waist is a bit big and it's a bit narrow through the hips. But I just don't tuck my shirt in and it works perfectly.

Several reviews indicate that these pants run large and I agree, the fit is loose on me, but I think that’s good for hot-weather wear. They are well made, of course, with subtle but welcome stretch. We are just coming into Summer now, and I am certain these will become my go-to pants for casual wear.

Nice fabric
The pros: I like the fabric - cotton, but not too heavy. The wide legs fit me well because I carry my weight in my thighs (weight is 170). The cons: the waistband was a bit large for me (smaller waist than hips) and as others have noted, there isn't enough elastic in it. I wore the pants around the house and I had to keep cinching them up. These pants need an elastic adjustable waist, like the Comfort Trail pants. I also think the Rangley blue is an odd color. I wish these had fit better in the waist, because the pant legs worked well for me.

These pants exceeded my expectations. It's tough to find a week fitting pant online. I am 5'6", 158lbs curvy athletic build. Typically it's difficult to find things that fit well on the booty. They're perfect in the waist, it's adjustable. Length is a perfect ankle length. Straight and slightly wide through the pant but it is flattering and not bulky. I love these pants. They're cute to wear as everyday wear or use them for outdoor activities gardening. I would buy these in every color...

The first pair I got were way too big, so I ordered a smaller size. These don't stay up either. You need stronger elastic AND belt loops to make these pants work.

I am so impressed with these pants after just one wearing. At the end of a long day these were still comfortable and looked crisp. They run big, so the first pair had to go back, but once I got the right size, I felt like I had found my perfect spring pants. I'm looking forward to buying these in other colors.
