I Won't Hike Without Them!
These poles were great for hiking on a recent trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. First, they're compact, so they fit in my suitcase. The poles might not be long enough for a very tall person, but they were fine for our family (5'7" - 5'9"). Included instructions made adjusting the poles easy, and the cork handgrips are much more comfortable than plastic ones I've had previously. The poles provide extra stability on uneven terrain, and are worth every penny!

Balanced walks.
Although I got these for colder walking on slick streets, they come in handy for balance.

Light and compact
Nice compact hiking poles that fit into a standard sized suitcase. Adjustable for going up or down. Really saved my knees on descent and helped with balance for safety.

Good hiking poles
Almost a 5. They are very good but a bit heavy. Particularly when the rubber walking tips are added. Overall a good value.

Onward, upward and downward!
These poles are perfect for compact people; they are very lightweight and fold up small enough to fit in a suitcase or carry-on. They lock well, so they offer support you can depend on. I looked at a lot of poles to find something small enough for me (4'10") but not too heavy to carry.

More walking fun! RidgeRunner poles.
Great poles! Very lightweight, easy to adjust. Not the "twist on" adjustment to the poles as some out there; but a snap/clip adjustment which I find easier, and also holds more securely. My husband had hip surgery a few years ago & his walking has improved greatly using these poles. We also walk more frequently too! Do not let the $99.00 a pair price deter you. They are worth every penny than a cheaper brand at a "big box store". At the same time as this purchase, I also ordered extra rubber tips for the pole bottoms at only $9.00 a pair! Also ordered extra "baskets" for walking in winter. 40 year Bean Girl

Valued gift
Liked appearance - nice natural green and smaller orange bands of color. Seem well designed - secure closures for height adjustment. Good instructions - which pole to use with what foot & pole maintenance. Good for someone older especially going up & downhill and for walking further faster.

Easy to adjust.
Unlike other products we tried, the clamps on these poles unlock and lock readily and the poles actually slide with ease.

Stand out hiking poles
Poles are strong and easily support body weight. Hand grips are comfortable and don’t get slippery when damp. Stable extension clamps that can be adjusted if needed. Easily attaches to daypack.

Hiking Poles
I have never used poles before and thought I'd try them. After reading reviews of poles that collapsed when putting pressure on them I chose these. These held up to all of my weight as I leaned on them while descending a rocky trail. I would recommend these although they did not come with the rubber tips as an option and that would have been helpful on smooth rock surfaces.
