Awesome sweater for men and women.
This is an amazing sweater. The length shrunk when I washed it (which was fine as I’m short) but it’s a great fit and super warm. No regrets purchasing this item. I bought a second one in a different color. Might buy a third. Totally worth the cost. Highly recommend. It’s a man’s sweater but as a woman, totes proper.

A WIN ALL AROUND
I love the uniqueness of this sweater. It takes the shirt style that my wife loves to see me in (The Henley) and combines it with the style I'm very comfortable in (a Hoodie) and stitched it together in quality fabric. It's a win all around! As a bonus they also included two side pockets to accentuate the Hoodie character of the sweater. A worthwhile purchase that fits true to size.

Sweater hoodie is unique. Very soft comfy & nice enough to wear to work or hang out at home. Fit was true to size. Love in Oklahoma & it’s cold in winter but not up north cold. This is a perfect hoodie for winter here. I’m going to buy another one in grey.

The sweater is of good quality and seems like it will hold up. It’s comfortable, and I wouldn’t really describe it as “soft” but the fabric isn’t scratchy. The sleeves and overall length of the sweater are on the shorter side so taller people may want to size up.

Men’s Fisherman knit hoodie sweater - so cozy
I first bought the deep olive which is a rich beautiful green with flecks of gold and white which give the sweater character! I believe these are supposed to emulate natural fibers in the traditional wool versions of the Irish or Scottish fisherman knit sweaters. The white/natural and the Navy do not have the flecks. The other colors do. If you zoom in on the pictures, you can see them very clearly! I have been waiting for the “classic navy” (which sold out - the classic has flecks of light blue which is beautiful) to come back but they are soooo comfortable that I couldn’t wait and just ordered the regular navy. The men’s medium fits great on me (female). It’s comfortable and roomy but feels like it fits like a glove.
The flecks in the grey (black and white) the classic navy (light blue & white) and the olive green (gold & white) are subtle and add warmth to the color…. some of the other colors have orange flecks that don’t seem to go well…..
Overall great, well made sweater and the hood is a great twist plus fits well. Very happy with the purchase. Hope the regular navy has the same feel!!

Don’t buy the green and gray, hideous speckles
This hoodie sweater is very good quality. For the price, it should be. Nice and thick, but not heavy. It seems like it’s going to last for a very long time. I like the blue one because the green and gray color ones have these hideous, very prominent, speckles in them. This is definitely not manly at all, so I exchange the green hoodie for the blue one, which has no speckles made into it at all. I guess LL Bean was thinking that the speckles made into the sweater was festive for the holiday season. Maybe for ladies, but not for men. No!
