Sizing
I have tried several coats from LL Bean with no luck. I ordered a petit XS and it is massive through the waist and hips. If I were 6 months pregnant I could probably still wear it. Not true sizing at all.

Love this jacket
Love this jacket. I bought a green one 2 years ago and wore it all spring and fall. I spent one month in Ireland and wore it everyday. It is lightweight and easy to crumple up and use as a pillow on the plane. It has deep pockets and a high neck to keep the wind out. Only improvement would be a hood for all the rain in Ireland.

Really great coat.
I bought this coat for a warm winter / cold spring in NYC. Worked great for about 25-50 F. Under thirty, you’ll need a thin sweater. Arms and shoulders are tight, L is definitely a 12, not a 14 (women’s). Also works in anything but full on rain storm. Love the minimal down, that is so warm, combined with the (incredible) waxed cotton, is a toasty treat. And if you’re hot, just unzip. Completely worth the price, I’ll wear this for at least 20 years, if I’m alive. #lol

nice lines on this jacket
Not your bunchy fill coat but it has nice lines similar to a sport jacket. I purchased a black last fall as it is timeless, but I would love a color in this jacket for spring. The white is sold out, so the other colors are dark too. So, maybe a sage? peach? lemon? Something in keeping with LLBean colors. I'll be watching. I love the cut of the jacket.

I love the light weight feel of the jacket, yet it is warm and a good wind breaker. There is room for a sweater underneath if needed. I think I would prefer a zipper instead of snaps, but it's okay. Good all-round seasonal jacket.

Great Jacket~ Odd fit.Petite Small fits great except around the neck area. The top two snaps don’t fit as they should.. it’s to tight. By leaving the top two open the jacket fits true to size.. maybe even a bit roomy but great if I’m wearing a sweater.

Color Description
This is my 2nd jacket in this style. Ordered Rangeley Blue. Had to take a star off for the color, however pretty, this is not an actual blue. Leans little Teal. I wouldn't go with this if you are looking for a blue jacket.

I love this jacket. It’s so light and yet keeps you warm. The first couple of times I wore it, I thought it couldn’t be warm enough so I put layers under it. It became clear very quickly those extra layers were not necessary!

Darkest grey why not black?
I would be happy to buy another jacket but really the colors this year are blah! I bought the grey because all my other quilted jackets are falling apart. I tend to wear the jacket to work as the air conditioning is too much. A tailored jacket would be nice.
