LOVE the pants NOT on me
I returned them because they looked ridiculous on me. No ankle to be seen / bunchy and very unattractive at the waistline. Pants were nicely made, fabric to die for, and totally great for summer. Very disappointed they did not work for me; however, if they work for someone else, they will love them. Nothing wrong with the pants, just wrong for me.

Petite??Definitely not!
For a petite - rise is too long and the legs would need to be hemmed by at least 4 inches to make them ankle length. The only thing I liked was the fabric. What a shame. Seems LL Bean is way off on sizing more and more.

Nice, but pajama bottoms?
I like these pants a lot—I have two pair. They fit well, wash easily; and I’ve worn them around home all summer. The only downside is that when I wear the striped pair, I feel like I’m wearing pajama bottoms.

Perfect for me!
I love these! Very lightweight, comfortable, easy to put on, and great in warm/hot weather when leg coverage is important. For those who like crisply ironed clothes, you'll have to iron them, but I don't bother.

Cute, but…….
I loved the blue stripe, but the fit didn’t work for me. The waist was perfect, but the thighs were too wide in both a size 8 and 10. I have found the linen ankle pants fit differently depending on the color you purchase. I have the navy in an 10, and beige in an 8 and they fit fine. The length is perfect for me at 5’2”.

Love them.
I tried to buy both pairs of the linen pants but the tan striped one were never available. Always sold out. These look great and you can wear them out to eat or to the beach. Great purchase.

I am SO disappointed in these pants. I had waffled on buying them because they are pricey but I loved them. Wore them to a Doctors app. While they fit nicely when I left the house, they were baggy, sloppy, wrinkled and three sizes too big when I returned home.

These do not wash well. Seems like the shrunk a little only around the ankle area. If you are someone who does not like to iron. Don’t buy these. I wanted to love them but they are just ok.

Love these!
I'm 5'7", 142 lbs, and bought my usual LLB size of 8. They fit nice, room in the leg, but not to the point I would have sized down. I bought them in tall and they were perfect-right at top of my foot. I did buy another pair in regular length and felt they didn't have as nice a drape/overall shape. The extra length made all the difference for me. These are a classic look..love knowing these will be a staple in my summer wardrobe for years to come.

Don’t order!
It’s so stiff even with many washing. Looks all wrinkled up after being dry, who wants to iron every time it’s worn? I wish I never ordered it.

I bought these to compare to the bell bottom pair of striped linen pants. I preferred the bell bottom style to these but they are still comfy. Would go great with some boat shoes. I am 5'9" 175# and ordered size 12 medium Tall. The elastic waist is just wide enough but these are cotton so there is not a ton of stretch. Plenty of room in the rise to ride sit about at my belly button and drawstring is functional! Length was perfect fit. The only thing I was hesitant about was I felt it slightly looked like I'm wearing striped pajamas.

Cool alternative to jeans could use tweaks
A dressier yet casual alternative to jeans. The linen fabric is cool for hot days although I found the wide waistband worked against the cooling effect. The cut of the pants is very generous. For persons like myself who are tall but more slender, an “extra-small” size would have been my choice.

Cute but shrank more than expected
I loved these pants the first time I wore them, but unfortunately, they shrink quite a bit in the washer. They still fit, but the calves are much tighter than when I purchased them. instead of being flowy, they are a little more fitted.
