Built well, bad fit
Very uncomfortable for me, the insoles were too hard, Not cushiony at all. 12 EE fits well with most boots but these were still tight.

Great mild weather hiking boots
I purchased these as my spring and summer hiking boots. I have found them to be exceptionally comfortable with about 20 miles on the trails. Paired with the Cresta Wool Lightweight socks, my feet have remained dry and comfortable. Additionally, the soles do not retain wet dirt or mud which makes other boots feel heavy. I felt sure-footed on various trail conditions whether muddy, rocky, or leaves and pine needles.

Great, sturdy, bombproof with one annoying flaw
Great shoes. So far they have held up to mud, snow, and rain. Comfortable and dry feet even though they are little heavier than my Merrell's. The only problem is one little design flaw: the hooks for your laces at the top of the shoe are designed in a way that, if you're in a rush, you will miss the hook. It's annoying and the only reason I bumped these down a star.

SLOPPING THRU THE MUD
It was raining the day the boots arrived. The next day we went out to clear brush. For hours we were slopping thru the mud, but my feet remained warm and dry. By the time we were finished, the boots were a mess, but my feet were still dry and blister free. That is why I buy Beans boots.

If in doubt go wide
I bought this boot 2 years ago and found it high quality but uncomfortable
I gave it a second chance this season and bought the wide. What a difference. Very supportive yet ample room for thicker socks. Love them

Painful rubbing
The edging of the left boot tongue grinds painfully into the top of my ankle in one spot. The right boot is fine. Fit & width of boots are otherwise as advertised and fit perfectly. I’ve tried every possible manipulation of tongue placement & lacing to no avail. I’m hoping they’ll “break in” & the problem will go away, otherwise I’ve wasted a lot of money on a pair of boots I can’t hike in. Frustrated & disappointed.

Still the best fitted hiking shoe.
Like I said, the best fitting shoe all around. I am disappointed though of the outer quality. After two weeks of wear, the thin layer of black rubber sides is peeling off.

Comfortable boot
Bought these to replace similar type Keen boots where the sole was delaminating after 4mos of use. These are very comfortable, but doesn't have the roomy toebox like the Keens that I enjoyed. So far so good though, just need to continue to work them in like any new boot.

These were bought as a gift, they arrived very late. I own a pair myself and suggested my husband try Oboz, as I love my pair. Super comfortable, great looking boot
I tried on a bunch of boots and shoes when looking for a new hiking boot. For me personally, these feel so comfortable! I really like that the company uses sustainable practices in making these and that they plant a tree for each sale. Looking forward to breaking these in!
