Sturdy
This chair is very sturdy and is compact when needing to store. When open, the seat is wide and you don't sink so much when sitting. Folds nicely and easily into its carrying case. Materials are super durable and will pretty much last for decades even with repeated use. Great quality.

Uncomfortable. Poor Quality.
EDIT: Changed from two stars to one since I'm apparently not allowed to mention the company that I bought better chairs from. I'll just say that it's a well known camp store that starts with C. :)
I was looking for a solid bag chair and figured LL Bean wouldn't let me down for what seemed to be a pretty pricy item. Given the price.. I expected these chairs to be comfortable -- or, at the very least, not uncomfortable. Instead, this was the most uncomfortable camp chair I've ever sat in. The fabric between the legs in the front was stretched way too tight, forcing it to push up against your legs the entire time you sit. I couldn't sit in this chair for more than a few minutes, and I immediately imagined taking it to an outdoor concert and how awful that would be to have to sit in this chair for any extended period of time. There was also a lot of bad stitching and fabric cut haphazardly. You can tell this comes from a factory in China and from a company that no longer cares about the quality of their products. I can't believe how overpriced this chair is given what you get. I returned these immediately.

This chair is far more expensive than the big box store chairs - for a very good reason! This chair is well made, sturdier and best of all - comfortable. It is deep enough, has adjustable arm rests - and it’ll hold your drink even with a can cooler!!! Great chair. Bought another right after the first one got tried out !

Excellent but seat a little high
Not as comfortable as the one I bought from another well-regarded brand 25yrs ago (or maybe it was 20) because seat is a bit on the high side. So far everyone that has sat in both chairs also agree.

Expected more from an LLBean product
Not very comfortable and the back is not that high. I was sick of cheaper chairs that would only last a summer so I tried the LLbean chairs for their quality. Not sure how long they will last but they are not that big or comfortable. I would have been better off buying the bigger, cheaper ones and replacing them a few times for the price of the LLbean one

Chair is great but strap had a twist in it
The chair is well made, attractive, and very sturdy. Unfortunately when the carrying bag was made the strap was sewn on with a twist in it. It felt awkward to carry the chair while in the bag. For that reason I returned the chair.

Patio Chair
We bought two of these for use on our patio. We waited for several weeks for the backorder to be filled. The chairs are too heavy for us to carry about but other people might not mind that. We do like the carrying bags, both for storage off season and also for storing near the patio. We are retired and weak so will not take these very far from home. They appear well made and strong.
