From water to land, the opportunities are endless in these comfy do-it-all swim shorts. Our most innovative swim liner is made from a soft, stretch jersey fabric that's quick-drying, anti-microbial and won't cause chafing.
This high-performance swimwear is made with approximately 34 recycled plastic bottles in every short.
- Abrasion, salt and chlorine resistant to withstand multiple washes and wears.
- UPF 50+ rated fabric blocks at least 97.5% of the sun's UV rays - 10x more than a white cotton tee.
- Outer layer is recycled 69% polyester, 19% cotton and 12% spandex.
- Durable water-repellent finish lets water roll off surface of fabric.
- Liner is recycled 92% polyester and 8% spandex.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Built-in boxer brief performance liner provides just-right support.
- Elastic waistband has an internal adjustable drawstring for a customizable fit.

Good looking print, comfortable, good fit. These are made with many layers of cloth so are not fast drying. It’s a trade off.

The swim shorts were exactly the color shown and a design I like very much. The material was very comfortable, and the length was perfect, as was the overall fit. Not only were there side pockets, but a back pocket which came in very handy at the beach. The material was light, felt good in the water, and dried quickly on land. Recommend.

Great suit-comfort and style!
Great suit! Love the style and color, particularly the inside lining way more comfortable than the traditional mesh. I bought this style and the blue too for my 19-yr.-old son. He actually wanted to buy 3 of them but very pricey. Strongly recommend.

Good Quality Shorts
I am 5’10” and 180#, the mediums fit with just a little slack. Nice trunks; lining is like a lightweight pair of underwear. Only drawback is whenever I jump into the water, the trunk material is so dense that air bubbles form and the pocket lining comes out. I spend a minute or so squeezing air out of the trunks and stuffing the pocket lining back in. I would buy these again.

Fits me well, like the front pockets(not too small (pockets seem to be getting smaller these days?) zipper pocket in back, have not used it -yet! I enjoy the floral look! I am sure I will be happy-rarely disappointed with LL Bean!

Super great shorts! Very comfy, and flattering on a 45 year old, 185lbs, 33” waist. Love the throwback pattern, and the shorts also have just a hint of fade in them to look like a pair you’ve had for years. I went with size M, but could definitely gone with a S as I do have to tighten the waist ban a bit. Overall; Love.

Super comfortable line, great swim shorts
Bought these shorts to use on my honeymoon and they quickly became my favorite swim shorts. The length is just right, my wife loves the pattern, there is plenty of room (and stretch) so I never felt restricted, and the boxer brief lining (as opposed to the mesh brief style liner) is buttery soft and oh so comfortable. I have worn the traditional supplex shorts from LL Bean and other brands, and these are by far the best. I will still probably reach for the supplex shorts if I am going to be going anywhere rocky or where the shorts could catch on something (the fabric on these is lighter and I am not willing to chance it till I have a second pair as backup), but these will be my go to for beach and poolside for the foreseeable future.
