GREAT GREAT SHOE
PURCHASED NOVEMBER 2024...I thought I found my forever garden shoe. I do all my own yard work and got these I was blown away. (small yard little mowing little mulching city house) Then after wearing them like 6X the right shoe on the top of the front has already started to crack????? Wellie's cracking, what, how......???? I had such high expectations for this shoe, being LL Bean outdoor stuff.... I really hope LL BEAN Customer service see's this. I see they are on sale but don't even have my size. They must have sold well because the black wasn't available when I bought mine in my size only green was available. Mine were $60 some dollars and honestly I was happy to pay it for what I thought was going to be a quality shoe.

Not a safe shoe in wet environment
This is not a non slip shoe. Do not expect this to be a safe nonslip shoe.

Material Splittung
I bought these for my husband about a month ago as an early Christmas present and the material on both shoes on both sides of each shoe is splitting. I am a frequent buyer of L.L. Bean and this is the first time I have had a bad experience with the quality of the the materials. So sad because my husband really loves these shoes.

Well or sport shoes for use as slippers.
Easy to put on and slip off. Purchased for use as indoor slippers. They are non marring and comfortable with good traction. They are a light weight shoe.

Sadly, my first bad purchase from LLBean
I bought these in May, started wearing them in July just to walk the dog in the morning (wet grass) and they are already cracked on both. I loved the feel and ease, I just wish the rubber had lasted.

DIDN'T LAST 3 WEEKS-PURE JUNK
These shoes are the poorest quality footwear I have EVER purchased. The rubber on the top and sided cracked and split after only 2 weeks.

At a year, worn less than 52 times @ > 2 hrs
These shoes are not worth the money. I only purchased due to the believed reputation of LL Bean products (supposed to be worth its cost). Guestimating at 60 hours use in the year's time of owning, I only noticed now, days after the year's warranty expired...cracks in the upper surface. This is yard work: mowing and edging/trimming at home. To be like the shown at appx 60 hours use is not what I'd expected. I had Redwings of daily use that only worn to this type of endlife for YEARS, not 60 hours. The soles have little to no wear.

Design failure
Comfortable and fashionable shoes but not fit for purpose. The outer is waterproof but the liner absorbs and retains water. If moisture wicks down your socks the interior of the shoe is damp for days.
Suitable for short walks in damp grass.

The practical part of this shoe was just what I needed, but when I looked at them, I realized they were cracking after a few months of sporadic use. Returned.

Short life
The top of these shoes cracked after 4 months of use. Great while they lasted, but would expect a longer life for $100 shoes

Truly Awful
Owned them less than four (4) days and they are already cracked and falling apart just about everywhere. Easily the worst pair of shoes I've ever purchased. There isn't even a point in constructive criticism, just cease selling these. Robbing loyal customers blind is a hilariously interesting business model.

Not Up to L.L. Bean Standards
These shoes are a horrible disappointment. In theory they are great and I enjoyed them for the two weeks that I had them. THEN THEY BOTH CRACKED, rendering them no longer waterproof. I have been shopping at LL Bean my entire life and have things that last, and last, and last. I look to LL Bean to provide a solid product that has sustainability built in. Fortunately, they took them back with grace and ease. I can NOT recommend these shoes.

Why endure wet feet or shoes?
These wet-weather shoes are perfect for the all-day rain when running errands and doing a lot of in and out on a sloppy day. The keep your feet dry, easy to put on, comfy, and very practical.

Something is wrong with the material
I loved the idea of these shoes. Easy on and out the door in the rain when walking the dogs…just perfect. But they nearly immediately began cracking. This has to be a material problem as I have never had something from LL Bean fall apart like this. I would love another pair…that will NOT crack in the first month.

Comfortable Shoe, Big Disappointment
Literally had the shoe around for over a year but did not wear it a bunch because it's a shoe for wet weather and I live in San Antonio. After wearing them a couple of days they were so comfy I bought another pair :( After 3-4 good days of wearing, I noticed some leakage on the tops. Both shoes cracked and leaked on the top crease at the base of your big toe that develops from normal walking. LL Bean used to stand by their stuff but only 1 year now WITH lots of conditions. After 40 years and 10's of thousands of dollars...I'm done. NOT the same company we grew up with.

Shoes top surface cracked within 2 weeks
A week after starting to wear the Wellie shoes the top rubber surface of shoe cracked and split open on left shoe. A crack in the outer surface of the right shoe formed a few days later. I’d had them for about three weeks. Otherwise they’re great. Quite comfortable.

Not a true slip on
I wanted a real slip on waterproof shoe. With this shoe I have to always reach down and unravel the heel part of the shoe to finish putting them on. My bad, I should have realized why that rear tab was put there. I want a shoe that slips on w/o fixing them to feel comfortable.
