Returned. The pockets stick out. They are placed right on the seam and the fabric is so heavy it will never lay flat .

Cozy Sweater Checks the Box
I bought for my daughter in law who just had a baby. I wanted something cosy and soft for her to wear around the house. They have a golden retriever and I didn’t want garment to show dog hair. I liked the pockets (always needed when you have a baby, or not). I didn’t want any buttons or zippers, nice and soft for baby to cuddle with Mom. She loved it. I bought the small and it fit true to size.

Beautiful but very large
Beautiful cardigan, but runs very large. I'm 5'5"/90# and felt overwhelmed by the roominess and heavy weight of the XS. Too bad - the gray marl is gorgeous but it didn't work out for me. Size down.

Burgundy? No, more like rust!
this is my second of this sweater, the first was gray. I contemplated giving this one three stars because the color is so far off. The sweater is warm and very comfortable. I sometimes wear a clip to keep the front together which dresses it up a bit. The only caution is that it's a loose weave and I have snagged it. I am 5'7" but can not wear many of LLBeans Regular sweaters because they run short (as do the sleeves) so usually order Tall sizes. I have found the Signature line seems a bit more generous in the length and was glad to see this one did as well. Because of the color I have not decided whether to keep it or not - I own a lot of burgundy, cranberry etc but this color is not that - i'd love one in a blue color.

Beautiful sweater
Beautiful sweater, well made. My issue was I couldn’t find a size that fit me properly. Shoulders were consistently oversized and drooped off my arms. Sadly returned it twice, just gave up on trying to find the right size.

Love this sweater!
Solid heavyweight cotton sweater perfect for Chicgo weather. A bit oversized so size down. Washes well on delicate, I tumbled dry on low just for a few minutes then layer flat to dry. Pockets not a deal breaker flor me as others complained about. This sweater is about warmth & comfort. If pockets bother you, you can easily stitch them closed to keep them from sagging. Will probably buy another color.

This is a heavyweight sweater, not in a bad sense.
I am 124lbs. 5' 2 1/2". In other stores I take a regular size, but at LL Bean I am in between and Regular and a Petite because of the length of the body and on some occasions, the sleeves. I bought this sweater in both the Grey and Gold colors in an X Small. I am glad I tried on both colors even though they were the same size, because the Gold seemed a little smaller and much more attractive on than the Grey one. Although the gold one is still a tad large in the body, if I roll up the sleeve once (and it looks good like that.) It looks better. I am going to wash it and leave it in the dryer, which I usually never do, hoping it will shrink a little bit. I am planning on wearing something that is a little heavier than say a long sleeve T shirt, like maybe a sweater. If they would have made this in a Petite, I believe the X Small would have fit better. But all in all, I think it will suffice and look good.

Bulky Around Hips Puts Ten Pounds on Me
This is a nice, winter-weight cardigan, and I would have loved to keep it, but ... one look in the mirror, and I didn't have to ask my husband "does this make me look fat?"
Because of its bulkiness and where the pockets are situated, this put ten pounds on me (I'm 5'5', 138 lbs.) I think it would look great on someone taller and thinner.
