More comfortable the first 2 hours of wear
They seem to be at least 1/2 size too large. I normally would wear an 8.5 and the 8 in these have plenty of toe space. I have a wide foot and these shoes fit me fine. If you have a regular or narrow foot, these shoes are probably going to be too wide for you. I wore my eco woods lace up canvas shoes all day yesterday. As the day got longer, I noticed the support did not seem as good as it was at the beginning of the day. I am not sure how much I like the shoes. I will have to wear them another day to see how they feel. I can't give them a 5 star review based on my one day of wear. I really think a 3.5 star review would be appropriate for these shoes. For the $19.99 sale price, I don't dislike them enough to send them back.

As pictured. A wide shoe through toe box
I bought these shoes because they are wide and I need wide shoes because I have a bunion on my outer foot. I wear an 8.5 and that's what I bought but they are just a half size too big so I returned them. I'm sad because I bought them on sale and read reviews and reviews said they were running true to size.

Bothersome bump where tongue is sewn to shoe
Lots to like but where the tongue of shoe is attached to shoe there is a dip that pushes down on big toe joint on both the left and right shoe. Tried stretching to get that spot not to place pressure on toe joint but it did not work.
