Nice outside, scratchy inside
While a lovely soft sweater on the outside, the inside is rough and scratchy. The outside is basket weave, but the inside is more of a French Terry. I expected better quality from ll Bean.

I have one in every color now except Navy.
These basketweave cotton sweaters are so comfortable! Heavyweight, beautiful colors. Great for early Spring, Fall and Winter. I just bought another one for my mother-in-law for a present. L L Bean, please bring them back I missed buying the Navy one!

Very Pretty Basketweave Sweater
Very pleased with this sweater purchase. Difficult to find navy blue button down sweaters that can be worn dressed up or with jeans. This sweater is perfect. It is warm but not too heavy. Im hoping to wear it this winter, also. The quality of this sweater is excellent. It has never stretched out, is very stylish, and fits true to size for me. Its not too large or tight fitting. The lenth is perfect, and its very comfortable. I hope this sweater is brought back in different colors next summer. Great find!

I am so pleased with this sweater. I am 5' 1 1/2" and the length was perfect. I listened to the advice of LLBean rep and ordered a petite large, its sleeves are full enough to go over long sleeved shirts and blouses. The sweater is trim, not bulky, the weave is subtle, even the buttons are pretty.

I HAVE ONE CARDIGAN AND ONE PULLOVER. I LOVE THE BOTH OF THEM. THE FIT IS NOT TIGHT, THERE IS A LITTLE ELBOW ROOM. I PROBABLY COULD GET BY WITH A LARGE. THE YARN IN SOFT ON YOUR SKIN. THE ONLY COMPLAINT ABOUT THESE SWEATERS IS THAT THEY CATCH OR SNAG VERY EASILY. OTHERWISE, I WOULD RATE 5 STARS.

One of the Best sweaters
Shop early, my fav size Pet L sold out fast, so Reg L is a bit large. Comfortable, looks more expensive than it is. Washes per instructions and looks like new. Love colors. Live in Deep South and our hot weather can last til Oct. and these colors can move into fall. Great for air conditioned places if you need another layer.

Just lovely
This is an exceptional cardigan. I love the basket weave; it is elegant yet simple. The garment is on the heavier side, which I require this fall working at the polls (it is very chilly in those rooms). I ordered the green sage which is a subtle, nature-evoking hue. I am a size 0-2/97#/5'2"; ordered a small regular. It fits precisely as wanted. I do not care for the buttons much, but ordered some pewter handmade buttons from Vermont which will give the sweater some panache. Yes, I highly recommend this sweater for any occasion..dress it up or down for a good weight warmth. It is worth every penny. Thank you, LL Bean, for another great product!

Pretty sweater
I bought the Rose colored sweater. Very pretty and soft, but the pink was not the right pink for me. I wanted a more baby pink, this more mauve colored so I returned it. I wish I had liked the color because the fit and material were really good.
