Nice style, poorish fit.
My previous Bean's swimsuit (same size) fit well. This one is baggy around the hips and buttocks and tight in the bust. It'll do, but is a disappointment.

BeanSport Squareneck Tanksuit Women’s Long
The suit itself is lovely. I am more comfortable in a long torso, so ordered a 12 (my size) long. While the suit fit in length, a tight band across the top of the chest is very uncomfortable. I wear an A cup bra size, so it shouldn’t have been that tight. I recommend against getting this suit for that reason. It’s an expensive suit and should have fit according to size.

Great suit, fits a long torso - really.! I'm a little heavier than I would like since lockdown, oh well, found this suit, it's my second one of this style, and I love it. I can swim laps in it, and it's flattering. That's really saying something given I'm in my 6th decade!

attractive sausage casing
This suit has a pretty design with the square neck, but, like other companies, LL Bean has switched to using a fabric so tight it feels like I am a sausage stuffed in a casing. [Hint: a size 6 doesn't need her body to be molded so severely. Nor does any size, really.] A woman could sprain her wrist trying to tug this material up! I wish they would offer suits in a more comfortable fabric, as in the past. This new fabric is also a little slicker and shinier than the old--looks cheap.

The Perfect Suit
I have never written a clothing review before, but this is the absolute perfect suit. I have worn it swimming laps at the pool and playing at the beach with my kids. It is the ideal suit for someone who wants a little more coverage on the bottom for digging in the sand with kids, but it is so, so flattering and not at all frumpy. Please, please keep this suit in stock! I actually ordered a second one in the pattern!

Very Attractive
I like this suit because it is simple and because it has a square neck. I probably won't keep it, however, because it runs larger than my old LL Bean halter swim suits. The fabric has a LOT of give; generally, coverage seems good, though the leg openings seem wide. I like the black color a good deal.
