New favorite
I’m a 3XL TALL kinda guy and finding a jacket that fits right is tricky. This thing fits like a glove. Quality seems sturdy so far and the flannel lining is very soft. 10/10

Truckers Jacket
Truckers Jacket is the perfect name for this one. It fits well, is lightweight yet the flannel lining keeps me warm. It is a great driving jacket. When it is time to get out of the truck and go to work, the canvas outside is tough enough for whatever you can throw at it. The quality is exactly what I expect from LL Bean.

Outstanding
Probably one of my favorite jackets from LL Bean. Quality is fantastic, keeps warm during cold fall days, but not suited for below freezing nights. Flannel lining is nice, true to fit, and plenty of pockets for storage.

A very nice jacket
I like this jacket. Its comfortable and warm. It looks nice and should hold up well if worked in. It is also 'not stiff' like a canvas jacket.

Love this jacket and sizing details
Is the weight and style I was looking for at the right price point. Usually a large or XL in shirts, I always try on both to compare.. I’m 6’1, 210, 38 waist, 16-1/2 / 34 dress shirt size, and the size calculator recommended Large. I ordered large and extra large and although the large did fit, my wife said the XL fit better length wise and it did feel a bit more relaxed. Thought about tweaking the size even further by reordering in Tall size but the arms would have been too long for me. With Michigan weather I want the option of wearing layers underneath. Returned the Large back to local LLBean store, and think they have free returns if you don’t have a Bean store by you, not sure, though. Saw the other reviews regarding no “locker loop” to hang it on a hook, and no inside pocket. Both would be nice but not a deal-breaker by any means. Tip- washing it and drying it (follow label instructions) once I knew I was going to keep it, broke it in nicely and got rid of the stuff creases in the arms and collar. Looking forward to wearing this for years to come.

Best jacket I’ve ever owned.
Fits perfectly with light and mid weight layers underneath. Very well made and the weight is exactly what I was looking for. I just got it in black and am already thinking about buying another in a different color. Highly recommend.

Looks great, but even the Small was too large
For reference I'm about 5'10 and 148lbs. Looked too boxy / oversized. Disappointed, as I really like the design and quality. Wish LL Bean would do a better job of catering to smaller sizes, as it's the case with their standard fit flannels too. Only a few things I can actually buy from the store.

Nice
"Hey, nice jacket" is what people say when I wear this jacket, and I agree.
Would be nice if it had loop for hanging though.

The perfect birthday gift…
When I first saw the ad for this jacket I sent a copy to my daughter to get confirmation 'This jacket in the green just looks like a perfect gift for Jason!' She agreed, so I bought it as a birthday gift for our son-in-law. He loves it! Comfortable, with 'a little give' to wear on the hour long drive to work on a cold morning in Maine.

Poor Cut
“Slightly fitted” if you have a beer gut going. Unfortunate because the material and concept is great. Returned.

Pretty solid for the price
This jacket is pretty good, material is a nice weight, and the rivet detailing looks sharp. I returned it because the arms where too tight for me and layering with it would have been too snug. I lift weights a lot though so for most people this would probably fit great.

Man this thing fits me well!
I am 6ft and 145lbs, with a fit build. I struggle to find clothes that fit me well. I can range anywhere from a large to a small depending on the brand and the article of clothing. I got this in a small regular and it fits like it is tailored. The flannel lining it a nice layer of warmth. The sleeves are lined with a smooth material (nylon?) that makes getting it on and off with a flannel shirt much easier. I am considering buying another one in a different color. Bravo L.L.Bean!

Large around the waste.
As a skinny tall guy, the jacket fits great on my shoulders. Around the waste, however, it's a little too big. Great jacket otherwise!

Fit to perfection
1st, use the LL bean sizing tools and measure yourself.
The size they recommend and comparing my dimensions helped me know exactly what I was getting and how it would fit. Let me tell you when it arrived it was spot on.
The jacket is the perfect length. Not as short as a Jean jacket and not longer the upper thigh. It’s got good weight, and room. But not to much. It’s such a versatile jacket especially in black as well. This is my first experience with LL Bean, it won’t be my last.

Amazing Jacket, highly recommend, would buy again
Incredibly comfortable and fits well. I am 6’1”, 185 lbs in and athletic build and bought a large. Ive worn it over a t shirt and button up no problem. A little snug with a thick wool sweater but most things are. Just buy it.

Comfortable
I’m 5’6, 173 lbs and grabbed a Small. I really like how it’s a bit more snug at that size - it fits like a sweatshirt and I barely notice I’m wearing it, even after a few hours. Comfortable and perfect for 50s-60s temp range

Nice jacket tight sleeves
I love the stretch and the flannel lining. I typically like the traditional fit but this is flattering and comfortable. The only thing is the sleeves feel a tad tighter than other items I’ve gotten here. Makes it tough to layer with a flannel or even a chambray shirt.

Men's BeanFlex Utility Trucker Jacket/Black, Large
Great jacket fits true to size. I have other denim Trucker jackets but the pockets on this one were what piqued my interest. Most trucker jackets have small chest and side pockets barely big enough for a pack of smokes or a can of Skoal. Seeing as I do not use tobacco products I was interested in the Bean Trucker Jacket because I can fit my iPhone Max in the chest pocket, or a boxes of fishing flies or snack bars.
I would love to have another of this jacket in Blue Denim, I would buy it immediately. Please bring out a denim version ASAP.

One Tough Jacket
The jacket is a perfect weight for spring weather. Warm when you need it, but not overpowering. It gives a man a very distinguished and different look.

How about something you haven't thought of?
I got this jacket in marsh brown. It is outstanding. A good weight canvas and solid. I have gotten several compliments while wearing it out. Great alternative to the tired jean jacket.

Love it with a couple of caveats
I love it but have a couple of things to say. I’m 6’3” 200lbs, got the large tall and it fits great, if not a smidge too wide. Would like to try on a medium and see how that fits also but didn’t have a store near by to do so. I like the open pockets and their design but don’t feel good keeping my phone or wallet in them. I hate storing things in my jeans pockets so a couple of inside pockets would be a nice addition.

Love love love it - very versatile piece - able to dress up or down and the flex is really a game changer. Also, the medium tall sizing is very clutch and of course LL Bean quality is on point. THANK YOU!!!

Good, but color is different in person
The jacket feels sturdy and the flannel lining is great. The green is different in person though, it has a pretty strong yellow undertone (so does the lining). It's an okay color, just not what I expected. If you have a warmer skin tone it will look great, though. Ended up returning because the color was so different from the photos.
