too expemnsive, Bean advertising
This used t be a $70 or $80 jacket. Now it's over $100. And the stupid Bean label on the chest is just a nonstarter. If Bean wants me to advertise, they should pay me.
I own and like quite a few Bean products - shorts, chinos, winter jacket, outdoor stuff, but I'm tired of the constant price increases and LL Bean adverts.

The label...
Dear Folks, I won't buy this beautiful jacket for only one reason-the conspicuous label. I've been looking for a cool bomber jacket for a long time. and now I find one that's perfect in every way. But there's a goofy label right over the chest. So I'm gonna pass-

Nothing Great But too Expensive
Slipper are just comfortable but it is not cost effective for seniors. I don't recommend seniors purchase them you can do as well at a Target Store.

Not The Jacket I Expected
Unlike your heavy-lined jacket for colder weather, of which I own two and love, I could never get comfortable in this jacket; the nylon outer layer felt a little stiff, and the cuffs, which should fit snugly around my wrists as cuffs do, were loose and made the jacket feel sloppy. All in all, an over-priced, ill-fitting jacket.

Perfect light jacket
I bought this jacket so that my husband could have a light jacket on hand. It's wonderful - it looks good, fits perfectly, is totally comfortable, and he loves it.

WARNING: Not a light shell!
I was looking to replace my great L.L. Bean shell (item #299787), which very unfortunately is no longer available. But nothing that I could find seemed to be the same kind of light men's jacket. The chat agent recommended this bomber jacket as the best option. I can't see anything wrong with the jacket itself, but it is definitely not just a shell - with a fleece lining that makes it too heavy for warm months.

Light weight jacket
Great spring and fall weather jacket for my area. I just don't care for all the tabs on pockets.

Jacket review
Excellent feel to the jacket. It is lightweight yet. It's warm for mild weather down to maybe the 40s. Nice color scheme with the brown and the blue. Really enjoy the jacket. It fits those mid seasons between summer and winter and fall and winter.

Good off-on with flannel shirts; excellent fit with room; wish not so many "ll Bean" insignias - could be more subtle?

Nice jacket - fits a little snug
Overall, this is a very nice jacket. Would have given it 5-stars, except for the fit. I was looking to replace a similar jacket I'd bought many years ago. I was hesitant to purchase online; wanted to see it in person and decide. so I rode over an hour to the nearest LL Bean store. I like the styling and features, and it looks good in the Navy color. My only nit is the sizing, the fit is like "slightly fitted" rather than a Regular. I have always worn Regular Large in shirts and jackets, and I've dropped about 20 pounds from where I was 5 or 6 years ago. I ultimately bought the Large jacket because the XL was just too long, too loose, and had no shape on me.

Great for in between seasons.
My husband used to wear this coat. He really liked it. I wonder why you can’t make a jacket like this (3 season) for women. I sure would like one.

Quality lacking
I was quite surpized by the poor quality of the bomber jacket. After just two days of wearing, the zipper no longer worked. It was not made of [premier quality. I always had very good opinions of LL Bean but now I will never purchase any more items from them.

Review
Excellent warm, lightweight jacket with easy-on sleeves for flannel shirts. Suggest collar similar to "Warm Up " jacket, but not -so- thick material. Smaller logo on front of jacket?

Poor quality
I have many pieces of clothing from LL Bean and I'm satisfied with everything except this jacket. The stitching is very poor and the material is extremely thin and cheap.

Love this jacket!
My husband loves the rust/burnt orange color and that it’s warmer than his other bomber jackets though still just as light weight.
