So impressed!
Wore this shirt hiking in very humid, 90+ degree weather and was so impressed with everything about it, the ventilation, the sun blocking material and how lightweight it was that I almost forgot I was wearing it. Highly recommended. I can see why they sell out fast!

Wonderful shirt for the sun
I was looking for a light weight breathable shirt with sun protection and this fit the bill. Breathable, gorgeous blue-green color and did the trick. Wearing it for volunteer work in the sun, and golf it was comfortable, and allowed me to move freely.

Rhubarb color
I had actinic keratosis and the dermatologist performed cryosurgery. Now I only wear long sleeve SPF or Tropic-wear shirts from L.L. Bean. I have several other colors. The rhubarb color is accurate. The rear zippered pocket is useless I prefer one in the front. No need for the collar snaps since these are not oxford shirts. I do like the microfiber wipe. Hopefully in the future L.L. Bean will make the changes I noted above.

Bought for a guest ranch trip
Bought this for the UV protection while riding horses at a guest ranch. I bought two styles and of the two I like this one better. Length (purchased in large petite) is better (shorter). Front pockets have velcro closures which are easier to use than the other one's side zippers with tabs with strings. The clever microfiber eyeglass wipe built into the front tail is a useful design detail which I just used today. All in all I think it will be easy to launder, will dry quickly, is comfortable and practical.

Stains Come Right Out
I bought another one last season and I'm simply filling in the colors. I wear this when I'm outside in the sun gardening or mowing. I bought the blue and plaid this season and lavender the last. I just love them! Let me share with you a story: I have mulberry trees on my 2+ acres and not thinking I lifted up a branch while on my mower. Now these trees have dark purple berries like black raspberries, and when I got back to the house one of the sleeves was streaked in berry juice which had dried. I immediately poured Clorox for colors on it and immediately rinsed it off (curiously the stain turned white on the blue shirt). The shirt came through the wash with nary a trace of the stain. I put it on a hanger to dry--end of story! I know I can count on L.L.Bean quality.

Logo and pocket with zip at the back
I bought one last year. I like the tissu and the making except the pocket at the back. I was obliged to remove the pocket at the back. The shirt is too long and that pocket is not practicable at all. I don't like to have a logo in the front.

Great looking shirt for sun protection
I love the soft fabric of this SPF shirt and the faux-tortoise buttons. The underlying net paneling helps to keep the body temp cool and dry. Nice for traveling because it packs & washes well, and dries quickly. Perfect-o!

I bought this shirt to replace an old well-worn one. When I opened the package I was disappointed to see the Bean logo on the chest, but decided to keep it. The first time I wore the shirt I realized that the cuff has additional advertising (UPF 50+). I am returning the shirt. I do not want to wear products with printed information/advertising all over them!

LOVE THIS SHIRT!
I bought these along with the vista camp pants and fell in love with both after my first spring hike of the season. They are comfortable and seem to allow you to sweat but maintain a comfortable feel as you keep hiking. I am purchasing both again in a different color!

Light, nicely proportioned for a short stature
The shirt runs large, so I had to reorder the petite shirt in an XS rather than S, but now it fits perfectly - just the right proportions for my 5-foot frame. I ordered the silver birch for a safari, but would love to order the mineral blue when it's again available. It's a nice light weight, appropriate for warm climates, which I also appreciate.

Excellent “sunscreen” wear!
Love this shirt! I wear it on hikes, around town, anywhere I’m going to be in the sun for a prolonged period of time - that may just be 20 minutes as I burn easy and have to deal with the consequences of not protecting my skin during the first 30 years. I’ll be back for more colors!
