Terrible Color
I bought this sweater for my husband in Deep Loden Donegal. We didn't realize this sweater isn't pure green. The yarn has a mix of orange and red and it looks strange in person. The fit of the sweater was fine, but the color was just terrible.

NOT good quality
For the price I expected much better. The sweater Arrived sub par. Threads were loose, small hole in the shoulder. It did not last the first wash. I washed it on delicate but honestly sweater just looks way worse so maybe you have to hand wash it - complete waste of time . Quality of sweater is so poor it just does not match the price point. I expected a lot more. Will not be a repeat buyer for this brand. All price, no merit. Gimmicks!

Great sweater, except for all the flecks
This seems a great sweater, except for the flecks in the burnt mahogany yarn, which makes the sweater look as if the person wearing it has spilled crumbs all over himself, or has just walked through a dusty sawmill. The contrast is too great, and the flecks look like they are sitting on top of the sweater, not integrated. So we returned the sweater.

Fisherman's sweater
I love the color of my new sweater, Antique Green. The fit is perfect also. It's just the right weight to wear a mid-weight shirt under it and not be overly warm. It's very soft and comfortable and looks great. I'm glad they make these in cotton, as I can't wear wool. I also have a brown cotton Fisherman's knit sweater, and that is a bit heavier weight. I highly recommend this sweater.

Great Sweater, but Flecking falls out
I really love the soft texture and fit of this sweater. I have an athletic build with a slim waist and large shoulders and arms, and I like my clothes not to be too tight or baggy. This is a very classic cut that is still flattering to my chest and shoulders. However, the donegal flecking isn't really attached to the sweater, it's kind of like they sprinkled it on top, so it has been falling out everywhere, and I'm not sure how long it will last. It's not truly part of the knit, which is disappointing.

Recommend - but wish color was more vibrant
This is a beautiful sweater. Purchsed the green color. Mid to heavy weight and a bit more fitted then previous fisherman sweaters I have purchased from LLBean. Thank goodness LLBean still caries Tall. There are small flecks of different colors in it but they are not extremely noticeable. A bit disappointed that the color was not as vibrant as the color in the catelog - loss of one star. Would love to see more vibrant colors that the younger men in my family prefer. Why no red sweaters at Christmas?

The Second One I've Bought
This sweater is the second I've bought but in a different color. As with the first, this one fits perfectly and is comfortable and feels warm enough to do the job when it gets really wintry cold. It's likely I'll buy a third to completely replace three very old and rather tired sweaters that I've been wearing for a lot of years.

Fits Perfectly!
I was weary ordering this sweater in XL-Tall because I have a bit of a belly. The sweater turns out to fit perfectly! No need to bump up to XXL-Reg. It is roomy, but not loose.
The donegal flecks are obnoxious on the dark green sweater, so I sent it back. The flecks are fantastic on the dark red! Also, the pebble grey looks the same in real life as the picture. The other grey is a bit darker in real life than the photo, but is still really nice.
