Look at the fabric closely!
There are tiny bits of red thread throughout the sweater that make it look like it is covered in red lint. very unappealing.

Ugly tan nibs
The teal sweater was covered in ugly tan nibs. These tan nibs were barely visible at the highest magnification in the online photo, but were very noticeable on the sweater. I can no longer trust the LL Bean's online photos, so I will be very hesitant about ordering online from LL Bean again. The sweater is getting returned ASAP.

Goes with almost anything.
I have this sweater in two other colors, so I knew it would fit comfortably and look great. It does, and, since it's cotton, it's machine washable, too. Just toss it in the dryer for a few minutes, then lay it flat and it's ready to go again. And the rust color is good with almost everything else I wear. I love it.

Poor flecks, returning
Was excited for this Donegal sweater, it's very soft and nice but the flecks in the dark green design are a weird pink colour and we're already coming off in the bag when I opened it. They are not part of the actual fabric, rather tacked on... I'm not having these flecks all over my apartment and jackets. Returning immediately.

Very warm! The Donegal flecks are prominent, so make sure you like the look of them before you buy. I got it in the reddish brown color and the flecks are mostly yellow and dark blue.
Stays soft and doesn't shrink after machine washing with cold water.

Nice sweater
This was a Christmas gift for my son. I wanted him to have an Irish sweater similar to what I and my siblings had in our youth that were hand knitted for us by my great Aunt in the "old country" as they called it. Ours were traditional cardigans with the brown buttons, but I know he would prefer a pullover style. He thinks it's great and is very soft and easy to care for being 100%cotton.

Very Comfortable
I now have three of these sweaters and they are as described: soft cotton. So many cotton sweaters "relax" and become baggy and droopy, but these don't seem to have that problem and I appreciate that. The collar and cuffs stay formed even after wearing all day. I have received several complements on these sweaters. It is "chunky" without being heavy and breathable to keep it from being too hot indoors.
